Springfest is sponsored by MAO - a private, non-profit, community based AIDS service organization with a full-time primary care facility.
The Souheast now has the highest rate of new HIV infection in the country, and Montgomery has the highest rate in Alabama. MAO currently provides care for over 1200 people. This number encompasses people of all ages and races and has transcended the barriers of gender, economic status and sexual orientation.
The need for care and education is ever-increasing, while the funds to operate are not.

Join us for Montgomery’s Community Art and Music Festival, Springfest on the Riverwalk, Saturday, May 16th (the weekend preceding Jubilee). Springfest is an annual event that celebrates the Montgomery area’s non profit agencies in a family-friendly festival in Montgomery’s beautiful new Riverwalk and Amphitheater. Last year, our inaugural event, drew over 3500 people and we expect even more people, music, artsts and vendors this year.
Sponsored by Montgomery AIDS Outreach (MAO), Springfest is an opportunity for all area non profit agencies to come together in a community festival.
There will be some awesome music and entertainment on the Ampitheater Stage, a Kidsfest, a Teensfest, Guitar Hero Championship, a rock climbing wall, moon jumps, pony rides, food, games and fun for all ages.
We are looking for volunteers for all phases of Springfest. Please contact us for more information.
