Monti Montanez is the new face of Latin pop music. With a magnetic performance, hot moves and a sexy voice he is poised to take the world by storm in 2010. Although Monti is bringing a fresh sound to Latin audiences, he is no stranger to the world of pop music. As one of the lead members of the legendary Latin pop group Menudo, Monti starred in a hit MTV series, toured across the globe and won the hearts of millions of fans all over the world. Now his fans are about to see a new Monti, as he breaks away from the boy band and hits the scene with an edgier sound for his solo debut. His infusion of Latin percussion, Euro dance and electro elements is sure to get you on the dance floor, while his catchy pop melodies are guaranteed to be stuck in your head for weeks. This generationís Ricky Martin has finally arrived and he's not going anywhere. Monti is currently in the studio working on his new album, which he expects to complete this summer. Keep an ear out for his first single "Cuando Te Vi", which is already receiving airplay from radio stations across the country. Are you ready? Aside from his love for performing and making music, Monti devotes a great deal of his time to the Children's Miracle Network charity, a non-profit organization that raises funds for children's hospitals all around the world. Monti also wrote and recorded the theme song My Dreams for FCCLA's nationwide "Dig It" campaign, where the in-school organization gives back to local communities. Born and raised in Caguas, Puerto Rico, Monti's path to a career in music began with a few unexpected turns through Germany, Georgia, and Texas and has finally landed him in Hollywood, California, where he now resides.
