Added the November Moonlight Motel comic strip! Enjoy!
September 23rd, 2009
Happy Halloween! I just posted the Moonlight Motel comic strip for October, 2009 on the right side of this page! I am determined to send the strip to syndicates before the year is out since I hope to relocate to Austin next Summer. Still working on that first Moonlight Motel graphic novel (writing phase), and I posted one of my all-time favorite and unavailable Halloween specials in the Moonlight Movie Show section down below, so check that out! Still need to add some girls to the gallery in my "Who I'd Like to Meet" section though. Well, that's all for now!
Well, I haven't had much chance to post new Moonlight Movie Shows lately, but Halloween is coming up, and even if I don't get a chance to post anything else, I'm at least going to get this one up. From 1979, it's the currently unavailable Halloween TV classic, "The Halloween That Almost Wasn't"! I remember watching this on TV reruns as a kid and LOVING it! Badly in need of a DVD release. Anyway, starring Taxi's Judd Hirsch as Dracula, here it is in all its cheesy glory! Particularly enjoyable on Halloween night! Give it a watch and tell me what you think in my comment section...

Incidentally, Old Spice doesn't really have anything to do with bringing you this page. That was just a gag. For legal reasons, I suppose I should mention that. Thank you.
Hey everybody! Montgomery J. Moonlight here! Welcome to my MySpace page! If you haven't heard of me before, I'm the manager of the Moonlight Motel, a lovely place to stop off at if you find yourself passing through the middle of nowhere in Texas. It used to be a pretty snazzy hotel 100 years ago, but at some point they put in a highway right past it. I run the place for my Uncle Mortimer and am in charge of a staff of weirdos like Seymour the bellhop, Russell Scarecrow our groundskeeper, Bob "Fish" Gillman our occasional lifegaurd, Chef Jean, who handles our complimentary breakfasts, Maleva, who is in charge of the kitchen and housekeeping staff, Stokes the security guard, Guy the maintenance man, and I hire a new maid now and then too, but they never seem to stay long. I also have a cat named Wednesday.
This page is where I'll be able to update folks on everything that's going on with me, from the Moonlight Motel comic strip to the Monty Moonlight short films that are currently being cooked up! "The Moonlight Movie Show" is now being posted here as well! There it is on the left! Hopefully, we'll be able to shoot some live-action intros for the show sometime in the future rather than just posting a text intro from me. Lastly, here are some old Moonlight Motel comics which can also be found at DeviantArt.com and DrunkDuck.com, newest ones on top. The strip is currently published monthly in Texas's "Magazine X". Someday, we'd like to make a couple of graphic novels. To help us raise funds for such projects, please pick up a T-shirt or something at our Cafepress shop, The Moonlight Motel Store, and contact us if you'd like to feature the strip in your publication. Now, here are the comics:
Who I'd like to meet:
And the Icelandic girl in the leotard.
Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat?
A while ago I found stuff that inspired me to make this film:
Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella
Both artistic (ensure you get the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice.
Though source materials are quite aged, much remains relevant today.

Yup. I got photos with Elvira, Rose McGowan(twice!) Marley Shelton, etc. Check my photo section. Mary Elizabeth Winstead is very hot also btw. The downside is that it is 80 degrees now ... and it is 5:50 AM! Will you be at Fantastic Fest?
