CRUNCHY is a mix of hard rockin' metal riffs with catchy melodies and harmony vocals. Take the Wildhearts, Beatles, Metallica, Cheap Trick, and Ramones..and then throw them in a blender.
MONTY COLVIN...After doing one album with The Awful Truth, I played bass, vocals, and was a key songwriter for Galactic Cowboys. We recorded 6 cd's and an EP in 10 years for Geffen and Metal Blade Records. We did 6 videos and appeared on MTV and Head Banger's Ball. We also did tours in the US and Europe opening for King's X, Anthrax, and Dream Theater.

Monty! I wish I could get Texas to see the cowboys. Fortunately, I could see the show on youtube. It was just AMAZING even though it was just a video. I do hope GC keep going!!! Thank you Monty for your endless creations.

Great GC show in Dallas. My 10y old son and I (front row center) had a blast!! You now have a new generation of fan. Great energy, loved the spectrum of songs (especially my fave SofTranq), and my new GC shirt and poster. Keep rockin Monty!!
I don't know who yelled out, "Monty Colvin, you're my hero!" but it (along with your reaction) sure was funny. Y'all sounded great; I'm SO glad I went. I was kinda hoping you'd break out the 8- or 12-string, but the sound you were getting from that 4-string was so incredibly massive you didn't NEED any more strings. Thanks for a great show. Dana V
