   About Monumental Booking

MONUMENTAL BOOKING
We are a team of people proudly from Spokane, WA. that love music and want to contribute to the local music community the best that we can. This booking agency is founded based on the determination to help our local bands and build our music community larger and stronger. We are not in this company for the money, which there is very little to begin with anyways. We are doing this out of love of music entirely and believe that if we put forth our best effort into our projects, that all of us as a community will benefit from it.

OUR MISSION
To perform our actions to the best of our abilities in a professional manner in the hopes of becoming the preferred Northwest agency that bands and artists will want to work with. We want every artist we work with to be happy with our promotional abilities that they trust us with. WE ARE NOT A PAY TO PLAY AGENCY and we will gladly work with almost every type of band or artist so long as it does not interfere with other projects of Monumental Booking, or others in our community. We are not here to interfere, we're here to help. Our goal is to bring in as much people into our shows as humanly possible with the hopes of those same people coming back to more of them and becoming more active in the Spokane and Northwest Music Community. Our love for music is something that has changed our lives and we want to share this community with everyone that can be a part of it.

OUR POLICY
We understand that everyone has their likes and dislikes about certain genres of music, or certain bands. But if you have strong negative opinions about one of the bands or styles of music we choose to work with, please keep it to yourself. There is nothing more negative that can be said about something you dislike than something you do like. Everyone here is equal and we expect respect from everyone who we work with so that together we can strengthen our community with as little confliction or negativity as possible.
We also hope to build a positive reputation with every local show-goer, artist, and promoter, as well as concerned parents of younger generations. For every show of ours, we will do our best to prevent any illegal activities, fighting, and we certainly will not stand for any discrimination whatsoever. THIS IS AN EQUAL COMMUNITY AND WE INTEND TO KEEP IT THAT WAY.

NEVER BEEN TO A SHOW?
That's perfectly fine! There is no secret way of coming out or fitting in. Just find a friend to tag along if you're worried about being lonely. It's really easy to come and enjoy yourself. In fact, the hardest part is probably just getting yourself to come out! All you have to do is come to the venue, pay the fee at the door, and enjoy some live music! There is usually re-entry for the show in case you need to leave real quick, so don't worry about that. Also, most shows are usually between $5-$10 and rarely ever exceed $12. Most shows also have at least 4 artists/bands playing, so you know you'll get your money's worth! ;)

VENUES WE USUALLY BOOK AT

Empyrean Coffee House
154 S Madison, Spokane, WA. 99201
(509)838-9819
Map of location in Spokane
This venue is where we do most of our shows at because of the friendly atmosphere and comfort it gives. Though this is mainly intended as a local European-style cafe, this place is one of the key elements of our Music Community. Equipped with a terriffic stage area in the back as well as the front and plenty of room to stand or sit down during a performance. This is an all-ages venue with beer on tap and microbrews for 21+. This place also has the best coffee in all of Spokane! Who wouldn't like sipping on some delicious coffee while watching some live music?

The Blvd
230 W Riverside, Spokane, WA. 99201
(509)
Map of location in Spokane
A lot of our bigger shows go here. Whenever we have the opportunity to book a well-famed band or put on a show intended to bring a large audience, we usually like to book it here. This place is well known by many bar-hoppers with its fabulous reputation as one of the best bars in Spokane, but this place also serves as a terriffic location for an all-ages show as well! With an awesome stage and highly reliable security staff, The Blvd can be a fun place for kids without interference of the bar area. As for the 21+ crowd, this is definitely the best place to see a show! Full bar and friendly environment as well as plenty of places to sit down. Located in the downtown area, so you're never too far from your buddies!

The Cretin Hop
1317 N Howard, Spokane, WA 99205
(509)327-7195
Map of location in Spokane
There could not be any place in town that is more dedicated to all-ages music than this place. Everyone involved with the building has love for music that they express through the hard work they put into it. This is a great place to just go to hang out and check out some new bands. There is literally a show here every night. Inexpensive snacks and drinks make this an easy place to hang out at for the younger crowd. Microbrews available for 21+, and they even have a movie theater in the back which plays awesome movies every week! Reliable security staff present at every show and the owner, TC, will surely put a smile on your face with his hilarious jokes.

Will Rock For Food 2nd Harvest Benefit

Hey there, how have you been?!  We just wanted to stop by and invite you out to a show!
Come join us in supporting the 2nd Harvest Food Bank on Saturday, December 19th at the Knitting Factory. We're fortunate enough to be playing with some great bands, including an acoustic set from Jimmy (London Get Down), iLLUSION 33, Paid Under Envy, & some very special guests!! This All-Ages show starts at 7:30pm and tickets are only $5! Buy raffle tickets for only a buck each, and win some great prizes - including a stay at the Montvale Hotel and gift certificates from Catacombs, Luigis, and more!!
Thinking of supporting the cause? Here are a few facts taken from www.2-harvest.org/

•197,000 people throughout the Inland Northwest are served by Second Harvest’s network annually.
• 44 percent (about 87,000) are children.
• 6 percent (about 12,000) are seniors.
• 50 percent of households include at least one employed adult.
• 67 percent of households reported incomes below the federal poverty level.
• 56 percent of clients live in rural and suburban communities.

This is a chance to have a great time and help your community at the same time - so bring your friends and come out for a night of fun and giving! We have three great locations to purchase tickets:

2nd Harvest Food Bank
1234 E. Front st.

National Furniture
1230 N. Division

Grind Central Station
8015 E. Trent

yeah i have real passion even though i dont know the lyrics by heart this is whats always taken me away form reality for a few hours to clean my head of all the bad shit ive done and all the bad shit thats happen to me. i always tear the place apart to leave my mark to let ppl know not to be afraid to show your true emotion for something that saves peoples lives.
