    Hard rock and metal has a new force to be reckoned with. Moodna creeks debut album is brilliantly crafted, insanely addictive and instantly pulls you in with that mean American vibe that could only be Moodna Creek. Hailing from Orange County NY, Moodna Creek carved their unique blend of sounds with influences that ran a vast spectrum of styles. Hunkering down for two years, locked away in an old secluded warehouse on the shores of Moodna Creek, the band rightly labeled their project "Moodna Creek". The creeks name is a corruption that stuck from the original Dutch term "Moordenaar" meaning murderer. The creek was dubbed "Murderers Creek" after a massacre of early settlers on the creek. The band chose this name after it murdered all preconceptions of musical style while washing the slate clean in order to foster a unique sound and emotional connection to the listener with no boundaries. Focusing good songwriting the debut album is just that from the cool low down swagger of "straws", the hauntingly emotional classic "Out of Reach" and the raw crushing edge of "Like a Knife" you'll know they got it right.
