MySpace a place for friends

mooie garage started out as a one-man project in 1996. Cassette demos and noodling around with sound effects was the humble beginning of what was later to become a complete band with drums, bass, guitar and organ. The first record, simply titled mooie garage, came out in 2003. The Second album, Shake Off All Your Ghosts, was released on February 4th, 2008. _________________________________________________________________

Written about mooie garage's first album in England's The Freak Emporium:

-'There is something strange in the water in Norway. Hot on the vapour trails of the Brimstone Solar Radiation Band comes this odd album recorded in 2003 by a character who goes by the name of Jaap. He plays everything on the album and the result is an oddball psychedelic recording with '60's and '70's influences merging into more contemporary references. At times a country folky sound is to the fore whilst at it's weirdest sound collages fight through cool keyboard, bass and drum jams. In some ways this is comparable to Beck's Stranger moments.'
