Some individual novels of note: The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime (by Mark Haddon- about an autistic kid trying to solve the murder of a dog.) Iceman- Confessions of a Mafia Contract Killer (about Richard Kuklinski- a very addicting, if somewhat unbelievable, book), Double Cross (about Sam Giancana), The Mob Lawyer (about Frank Ragano, lawyer to Santo Trafficante), The Last Testament of Lucky Luciano (a slow read, but definitely interesting if you like Mafia history). Really, I'd read and likely recommend anything regarding Mafia history. I'll read pretty much anything though, and as I find new authors, I'll add them to this list.

The one with the most meat and cheese on it. But it's probably expensive.

About me:

I'm an artist who uses no one particular medium. I draw, write, and do some digital stuff. You can see some of my drawings in my pictures section, and some of my poetry in my blog here on Myspace; or you can see a lot more by clicking here http://mookatek.deviantart.com/. I really like to play video games, and I often find myself in the middle of a dozen or more at a time. I like all kinds of movies and I'll watch pretty much anything. I watch many different television shows on DVD. I like to read novels of all kinds, and I usually read two at a time: one at work and one at home. I like listening to all kinds of music, but my favorite genre by far is metal. The best way to describe me overall is..... extremely unconventional. I'm a very nonjudgemental person, and I encourage people to be themselves around me. You can't shock or surprise me, and honesty is very important to me, so people can relax around me. I can get along well with pretty much anyone. I don't like to argue, but I'll debate an issue with anyone who can keep their cool. I have many very odd ideas about life and existence in general, and I find myself unable to express many of them, but I try. As for my career, I'm a janitor, and I'm very happy with that. Money isn't very important to me, and I honestly couldn't imagine what I'd do with the millions and billions of dollars everyone else goes through hell to try to obtain. Basically, I'm just some guy trying to live a peaceful, simple, stress-free, and fun life in a fast-paced, angry, and hateful world that I've never really fit into, and to hopefully live that life with someone someday. I know there's a big thing missing from my life, and I'm not sure an unconventional person like me will ever find it, but I'm still enjoying life quite a bit now that I've found my own meaning for it. Yes, life is good.

Who I'd like to meet:

Anyone who thinks I seem interesting shouldn't hesitate to contact me. Of course if you're one of the myriad phony people trying to sell something on this site, I'm not going to respond to you. Anyone else, feel free to send me a message.
