MySpace a place for friends

We are the local No2ID group for Brighton & Hove. We campaign here to raise public awareness and to try and make sure that our local government doesn't take part in this intrusive, wasteful scheme.

We think that our council taxes are high enough without having to pay for ID card scanners and staff. We think that the huge number of CCTV cameras in the city -- and the fact that every car journey in or out of our city is automatically recorded by the police -- present enough of a risk to our liberties without having ID cards too.
