Moon is a musical satellite which consists of three creative minds who have been working on their world since 2003. After their first virtual meeting they discovered that they have - even though they are pretty different characters – something in common in their universe: The love for a certain kind of music – slightly melancholic , atmospheric, melodic , playful and various concerning style and colour. Martin Lowis and Oliver Beier connected their electronic compositions with the lovely voice of Verena Johann and began messing up styles, added funky effects and real instruments and finally arrived at their orb. Moon presented their labour of love called “Gorsky Park” in 2007 – elements of pop music mixed with electronics, triphop and house in a quite personal and gentle manner. Alex Jacobi finally joined Moon as producer and lead their compositions to a degree of perfection which still sounds natural…artificial?…you have to listen to experience the layers of emotions and sounds - even the machines have a really warm flavor. Moon define their own genre and invite the listener to a journey through pleasure, deep moods, delightfulness, sadness and happy feelings.
The new project Neumond is not an conventional album. In the course of one year each month at new moon a new song which is only available as download will be released - at the first day even for free on our website mondseite.de. After twelve months and twelve songs the new Moon album will have been completed.

Moon veröffentlichte 2007 mit „Gorsky Park“ ein Album, das mit viel Liebe zum Detail entstand. Pop vermischt mit Elektronik vermischt mit Triphop vermischt mit House – alles in einer sehr persönlichen und eleganten Art und Weise. Alex Jacobi hat als Produzent ganze Arbeit geleistet, die Kompositionen einem Perfektionismus nahe zu bringen, der trotzdem natürlich klingt….oder doch virtuell?...man muss sich Moon anhören, um die Vielschichtigkeit der Emotionen und Sounds erfassen zu können. Selbst die Maschinen klingen warm und trotzdem frisch.
Moon definieren ihr eigenes Genre und laden den geneigten Hörer auf eine Reise zu Vergnügung, tiefen Emotionen, musikalischen Köstlichkeiten, zu traurigen Klängen und zur Freude ein, die man empfinden kann, wenn man ihre Musik hört
Das neue Projekt heisst Neumond und ist kein Album im herkömmlichen Sinn. Ein Jahr lang gibt es jeden Monat an Neumond einen neuen Song, der nur als Download erhältlich ist - am ersten Tag sogar kostenlos auf der Mondseite. Nach Zwölf Monaten und zwölf Songs ist das Album vollendet.

After the success of the all out rage-fest that was I Get Violent, Sluggo and company show a deeper, more melodic side of Ultragore with Power Glove.
On the lead single, Sluggo teams up with UK vet Kirkus. After a string of strong releases with Dirty Circus, Stupid Fly, Execu7ion, Bass Punch, and BroTown, Kirkus seems to have met his match in Sluggo. While both still have a taste for murder bass and heavy whomp, Power Glove has the two venturing into new territory with surprising results.
In another collaboration tour de force, Sluggo and Kirkus team up with label boss Lank for a chuggy stepper on We Kill Everything. Once again, Sluggo and Kirkus open up with some airy synth notes, quickly deteriorating into some chopped up squelch going into the drop. A deep, heavy bass line chugs along at a healthy clip, with some 8-bit highlights and heavy bass injections along the way to keep things interesting. Despite its title, We Kill shows that the monster inside of Ultragore isn’t all blood-thirst and terror—apparently there’s a brain inside the beast.
