First there is God! He never gave up on me even when I gave up on him!
My husband Bud is another hero of mine. He looks after me now while I am still trying to recover from many different illnesses. He works very hard to keep us going now that I am no longer providing an income. Every time my feet and legs threaten to keep me up all night he will come and massage them so I can get to sleep even though he is the one who has to get up for work.
My children ... each of them ... are definately heroes of mine! They have each managed to grow up safe, beautiful, and smart despite having me for a mom. I love them all dearly ... more than mere words can ever describe.
My sister Lee is one of my biggest heroes. I love and admire her more than she will ever know. I admire her for her strength, her love of God, and her love for not only her own children but also her love of mine.
Last, but most definately not least, there are the obvious heroes ... those who serve to protect us and our freedoms: Military Troops, Policemen, Firemen, etc. I pray they all are kept safe!
About me:
Folks ... I am going to let you in on a secret ... if you ever really ... REALLY want to get to know a woman ... listen to the words of the music she chooses to listen to. Most men (perhaps not all, but just about every one I have met) listen to songs more for the beat. The majority of us women listen to songs for the way the words touch our souls. For myself, two songs in my video list here are like my life's theme songs "To The Moon and Back" by Savage Garden and "Unwell" by Matchbox Twenty. "The Voice Within" by Christina Aguilera is my song to my inner child. Of course, there are some songs I choose just because the folks singing them have got the greatest voices around. Such is the case with Joss Stone's "Son of a Preacher Man". That is one lady who can really sing up a storm! Another song that has moved me more than about any other has is "Hes Alive" by Dolly Parton. I have never been a huge Dolly fan but I get chills every time I hear that song. My youngest daughter, Ally, laughs at me because I cry each and every time. :-) So, enjoy the music and the vids ... and get to know me while you are at it!
Who I'd like to meet:
Who would I like to meet? Well, for starters I would have to say Rob Thomas (previously of Matchbox Twenty). As I am sure is obvious from my vid selection, I totally LOVE that man's voice, his music, his lyrics and Lord help me ... his sexy looks! Surely God has kept us from meeting so I can remain a faithful wife and also so I won't have to get my bottom kicked by Rob's wife! ;-)
I wish I had known my mother. Her true self ... the one she hid behind the bottle. I would like to know what her dreams were. What did she dream of as a child that she wanted to be when she grew up. I would like to know if she ever knew love. Did she believe in God? Did she ever love me? I will meet her again someday and maybe then I will know.
I would like to meet God. No, I am not in a hurry to die. I would just like to ask him a few questions. Jesus wept. Did God? I think of how often I have cried and worried over my children. I don't think I can truly fathom how overwhelming it must be for God to see his children hurt, sad, turning defiantly against him when they don't get their way. That has to hurt on such a large scale! Imagine how frustrated we get when our children do something after we have told them not to. Imagine if you had BILLIONS of children doing that at the same time! WOW!
OMG! You have have have to see my new ring! I got it for $350!!! We got it from the pawn shop and did layaway (depending on how much we sell on ebay will decide how soon we get it out). I only put $50 down. I looked on ebay and they had them going for $2000! I love it! I have never been happier about a piece of jewelery! But I think you figured that out...lol. I love you! I want to go visit you this week!
hellooooo! How ya been? Your pictures in your bulletins look great! Very creative! But yes, to the dress shopping! I think it would be really fun for us to do that together. We said we were going to get married in April, but now I am thinking November. Dunno yet. But still we ought to go shopping for dresses. I know exactly what I want, but it will still be good to shop around. Well, I love you! Love, Lil honey! ps....you KNOW i will want to get married, i think thats a given with me. ha ha
Hey girl! I was looking at pictures of your sons baby girl, the 1 yr old and I realized that she is only 2 day younger than Kynder! How awesome is that!
Hey Mama! How u been? Your newly transformed pics look great! You are very talented! Do you think that if I took pictures of each of my animals, that you could combine all of them and make it look like they are naturally all sitting together. You know, like as if any of them could manage to be around the other without fighting! LoL! I love you!
I tried calling you a few times today to tell you happy mothers day, but i guess we kept missing eachother! But call me so we can get together about your hair! I love you!!!
