The union between Intelligent Pop Music (just like JAPAN, DEPECHE MODE, BJORK, DUNCAN SHEIK, KING's X, DAVID SYLVIAN, NO MAN, LUCIO DALLA, RENATO ZERO, U2, COLDPLAY etc....) , Rock (just like METALLICA, LED ZEPPELIN, AMPLIFIER, DEEP PURPLE atc...) and progressive! (just like GENESIS, YES, ANEKDOTEN, LANDBERK, CARDIACS, PINK FLOYD etc....)... With a little bit of symphonic experiences (MORRICONE, JOHN WILLIAMS) and electronics down beats (PORTISHEAD, MOLOKO....).....
Just like a record shop? maybe...
MR DAVID CREMONI in Studio ...recording the final solo on "Demetrio & Magdalen" for the new MOONGARDEN album planned for Feb 2009!!!
www.myspaceeditor.it
The band is born at the beginning of the 90's, with a demo containing a few songs written and arranged by Cristiano Roversi and David Cremoni, which the Italian label Mellow Records soon after released as the first Moongardens album named Moonsadness. A few months later, Cris and David recorded with a different line up two covers for The first Italian tribute to Genesis. The chance of working on a full length album came with the "Brainstorm of Emptyness" sessions.
This is the second official release under Mellow Records, but in many ways the first real Moongardens one. This cd has also seen the entrance of Massimiliano Sorrentini on drums and Ricki Tonco on vocals. Moreover, during this period, the band published a cover called "There Will be Time" by Osanna for The 70's Italian Progressive tribute album.
After that, Moongarden went through a long period of inactivity, due to several personal troubles, and it took more than 4 years before Cristiano decided to start working hard on new material, actually giving new life to the project. Luca Palleschi joined the band as the new official vocalist, and a few months later the new album was ready. The Gates of Omega, third official release, represents so far the most complex and mature work produced by the band, and has obtained enthusiastic comments by both public and critics.
Further to this last publication, Moongarden have finally set the basis for a more intense musical activity: , a successful series of concerts and live performances around Europe, a new label, Galileo records, and the fourth album Round Midnight.......
Max Sorrentini and Luca left the band in 2005 for human and artistic divergences....after a year we finally find a new line up with the singer Simone Baldini Tosi (he was the singer of the first album Moonsadness) and the drummer Maurizio Di Tollo.
In the early 2008 Moongarden release the album called SONGS FROM THE LIGHTHOUSE with the outstanding artwork of the famous cover artist Ed Unitsky.
The album sold very well around the world so the band choose not to follow the usual "slowmotion" writing and production of music to speed up everything and start immediately the building of a new album scheduled to be release in Feb '09.
In November '08 Marco Tafelli left the band replaced by the original former member and very talented musician David Cremoni.
In Jan '09, founder member Cristiano Roversi and Gigi Cavalli Cocchi (Mangala Vallis, CSI etc...) founded the indipendent label DISTILLERIA Music Factory and Moongarden was immediately sign up side by side their "brothers" Mangala Vallis.
In April '09, the band released the official sixth studio album called "A VULGAR DISPLAY OF PROG" together with the GIGI CAVALLI COCCHI arrival behind the Drums.
Pending the new release "Melotonine" (release date coming soon), i decided to offer you a part of my best recent works in a free EP, "Cupboard Replacement", downloadable in all numeric formats with special graphic art works by Flint on Music AutOmatiK's Website :

Lets take a moment to remember those that were lost and those that were left behind. -
On September 11, 2001 - Life as we once knew it suddenly ended. In the chaos and rubble where the World Trade Center once stood, an unforgettable image of hope - Three firemen raising the American Flag.
Standing defiantly against the gray and white landscape of devastation, these dust covered men and the vivid red, white and blue Old Glory instantly became a symbol of American patriotism. Franklin's photo of these three heroic rescuers--Brooklyn-based firefighters Dan McWilliams of Long Island, George Johnson of Rockaway Beach (both from Ladder 157), and Billy Eisengrein of Staten Island (Rescue 2) - also became a global message that Life, and America, would go on.
Thanx a lot for the friendship! Keep up the good work! And let your soul be your pilot - today, tommorow, always! From Russia with love... MAX DMITRIEFF, singer & songwriter www.myspace.com/KatherinesFavorites

Thanks a lot for the add! EletriKa sounds completely different from any Metal band you have ever heard. The Brazilian rhythms and the Portuguese language added to the songs makes its style unique, giving birth to a new kind of Metal. If you are really looking for something new about Metal, you should check EletriKa out!
Here is our dear Rattie! His name is Stryper! (no, not after the heavy metal band lol) Because he has a white stripe down his back all the way to his tail! Here he is on my shoulder, he likes perching high! He likes good things to eat. This morning I gave him a green grape and a cherry tomato - he seemed to be perplexed on which one to eat first! So he nibbled on both lol He cant have chocolate, but seems to know that if we like it so much - why dont we share it with him! When I pet him, he chitters and eyes bubble, so it appears, but really he is quite content and happy I am near!
Hug You!! Monika -
Ode to a Rat Always poking, always peeking, Climbing, jumping, sometimes squeaking, Twitching whiskers, cunning faces, Hiding in the strangest places! Nibbling here and napping there, Always finds the time to spare A fuzzy 'kiss' upon my cheek. Sometimes I wish that you could speak! Bright eyes shining full of love, A furry gift from up above. Always glad to have me near. Such a treasure! What a dear! Folks can have their cats and dogs, Horses, snakes, and even frogs. For me you stand out from the rest. No doubt about it- a RAT'S the best! - Janie
