2009 - 30th ANNIVERSARY! We are delighted to be celebrating our 30th year in business and would like to thank ALL customers - past, present and future for their continued support over this time. Instruments produced this year will carry a commemorative label to mark the occasion.
Jimmy Moon first began building guitars in a small workshop on the Isle of Arran in 1979. They are now handcrafted in a workshop situated on the southside of Glasgow in Scotland.
A small team of craftsmen work to provide you with the highest quality instruments -acoustic guitars, mandolins,mandolin family instruments and custom electrics.
Of course some machinery is inevitably used, where it will improve on the quality or finish and playability of the instrument but every machine is controlled by hand - in no sense are these instruments mass produced.
We also have an interesting stock of vintage and second hand guitars for sale in our showroom. Check the website for updates or drop by and take a look!
