Desde las profundidades del cosmos llega un nuevo sonido hipnotizante.
Un conjuro de reggae espacial que mezcla desde lo primitivo de los instrumentos étnicos,
con lo futurista de los lasers y samplers de la nueva tecnologia.Todo bajo el concepto del reggae dub instrumental. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
MOONLIGHT es todo un laboratorio de ritmos y sonidos, una onza de dub, con tres gotas de roots, 2 cucharaditas de drum n bass, una pizca de rockers y 150 grs de tambores africanos.
La banda inició en septiembre 2006 en San Rafael de Heredia en el MOONLAB laboratorio extraterrestre donde los lunaticos han formado la primera banda de dub en Costa Rica: MOONLIGHT DUB XPERIMENT
Todos provenientes de reconocidas bandas como Mekatelyu, Frecuencia Libre, Bamaselo, Pushin, Mod Ska, Mantra, Amoun Zulu, entre otras, todos los lunaticos aportan todos sus conocimientos musicales para crear este nuevo experimento fuera de este mundo.

From the depths of the cosmos comes a new spacial
experiment. A combination of instrumental reggae (DUB)
Fused with electronic sounds.
Moonlight is the first band of dub in Costa Rica and
Central America. The target is to take the listener across
a primitive futuristic trip with a variety of styles that include
reggae classics and original compositions in dub, roots,
dancehall, afro latin rhythms, ska and electronic beats.
Moonlight has invited recognized national and international
reggae artists such as: H-uba, Fidel Nadal, Kafu Banton,
Jahricio, Adrián Riverside and Dub Coalition Sound System (NYC).
Dub is a jamaican musical style originating in the 70s and nowadays
has evolved into a big worldwidemovement for reggae and electronic fans.
All members of Moonlight Dub Xperiment are from Costa Rican
bands such as: Mekatelyu, Amoun Zoulu, Bamaselo, Mod Ska,
Frecuencia Libre, Pushin, and Mantra.
Moonlight has taken part in many cultural, university,
school festivals, civic holidays as well as events in
bars, nightclubs, hotels and private events.
The song Moonlab has been featured on programs at different national
and international broadcasting stations. Today Moonlight is working
on the production of there first compact disc and preparing for there
Central American LUNATICA tour 2008.
Moonlight is innovating, mystical, and fun with there base being caribbean.
