Influences
Cada integrante de la banda tiene sus propias influencias.
Tratamos de ser originales,no imitar a nadie y que nuestros temas sean variados para no aburrir a la gente que los escuche.
La banda comenzo en Abril del año 2007 cuando Luciano Bini (tras haber dejado la banda en la que hasta el momento habia participado) se contacto con la Soprano Stephanie Malbert, para comenzar un nuevo proyecto, por ese entonces bajo el nombre de “Haunted Tales”. Fue asi que se comenzo con la búsqueda de musicos que se unieran al proyecto quedando conformada la banda con la siguiente formación:

J. Sebastián: Bajo Y Guturales Agudos
Ariel Godino: Guitarras
Emilio Fernández: 1er Teclado

Con una formación completa la banda paso a llamarse “Moonlight”
En septiembre de ese mismo año la banda entra a estudios para dejar registrado lo que seria su primer demo de forma independiente… el mismo fue llamado “When Night Falls” y al poco tiempo la banda es invitada a ser participe de 2 festivales locales obteniendo muy buena respuesta del publico local
El 30 de Diciembre de 2007 la banda debuta oficialmente en el teatro "El tablado" de la ciudad de Bahía Blanca, un recital con mucha fuerza, buen sonido, en donde todo salio bien. Un digno debut obteniendo nuevamente una muy buena critica por parte de la gente local y creando un gran interes por la banda!
Comenzado el año 2008 la banda se propone ensayar continuamente para ir terminando los nuevos temas pero al poco tiempo Ariel Godino debió dejar la banda por cuestiones personales, siendo reemplazado por Sebastián Giunti.
Moonlight da 2 recitales más en Bahía Blanca y empieza a tener propuestas de ciudades como, Mar del plata, Buenos Aires, Santa Rosa, etc. pero lLamentablemente Stephanie Malbert dejo la banda para dedicarse de lleno al estudio de canto lírico y las fechas fuera de la ciudad de Bahía Blanca fueron pospuestas.
La nueva Soprano de Moonlight pasaría a ser Vanesa Arfuso y por diferencias musicales, la banda decide tambien continuar sin el tecladista Emilio Fernández, quedando una buena relación con el ex integrante y su reemplazo seria Juan Fetter
Es asi que en agosto del 2008 la banda cambiaria por cuestiones de registro su nombre de forma definitiva a "Moonlight Réquiem".
La formación actual de la banda pasaria a ser:

Con esta formacion la banda se presenta 2 veces en Bahia Blanca en lo que resta del año 2008, y en Enero del año 2009 la banda entra a estudio a grabar lo que seria su primer CD de forma completamente independendiente... En Mayo del corriente año la banda se presenta una vez mas en el teatro local "El Tablado" y en los meses siguientes la banda decide continuar sin la participacion de Vanesa Arfuso...
Por el momento la banda se encuentra terminando de grabar y preparandose para presentar su nuevo material en lo que resta del corriente año...
Moonlight was born when Luciano Bini (keyboards and growls) left the band, Enchained Souls, he was decided to carry on with his music and then talked with Stephanie Malbert (soprano voice). She was willing to participate in this project. Then they began to search for musicians and the band was complete with the next line up:

With this formation the band was called “Moonlight”
With their six members the band quickly started to rehearse! On the last days of September the band entered the studio to record their first Demo…
“When night falls”, was the result of this process. This album had great feed back not only in Argentine but in Latin countries like Chile, Uruguay and Mexico as well.
The year was nearly ending and the band just needed to give a gig. Then in November they were called to play in the “true metal fest” organized by the local magazine “Camino a seguir” , the band made an excellent show and the response from everyone was great!
In December the band organized their official debut and the presentation of “When night falls”, only two days before they gave a gig for a festival organized by a local radio station.
December 30th was the chosen day for their official debut together with their friend’s band “Razorbliss”, the gig was located at a local theater call “El tablado”, it was a great show and the audience really seemed to like it. After show people took pictures with the bands members; it was great response…
2008 started and the band has so many projects but Ariel Godino left band because of personal problems, and the chosen one for his position was Sebastian Giunti.
With this new member the band played twice just to suffer the lost of their female singer, but quickly she was replaced by Vanesa Arfuso...
The band also decided to carry on without Emilio Fernandez and his position was occupied by Juan Fetter.
In August, band’s name was changed permanently and “Moonlight Requiem” is definitive band’s name.

With this new line up band played twice in 2008 and in January 2009 band entered the Studio to record their first album, in May band gave a presentation in local’s Theatre “El Tablado” and after a few months band decided to carry on without Vanesa Arfuso...
At the moment band is still recording their album, which will be present at the end of 2009
