BloodMoon was founded in 2006 by Tom (Retribution, Scornage) and Danny (Ex-Shrine of Ostara and Into Oblivion).
They wanted to express their musical feelings in a new way, their rage and beauty combined in an atmospherically musical package.
The vocals were taken on by Randy (ex-Wither life), the brutallity in his voice is now one of the main characteristics of Bloodmoon.
Bas was the other key member of the clan, and with his unique guitar skills the perfect element to seal the mix.
We found in Yarno (Turris Arcanum) our bassplayer. His freaky and skillfull playing was exactly what we were looking for.
The music is not your standard Death Metal, but a mixture of bands like, Opeth, Gojira, Bloodbath and Gorefest. Bloodmoon try's to explore the boundry's of Death Metal, and doesn't hesitate to use all sorts of diffrent type's of music to compose new songs. Words like, technical, brutal, groovy and melodic would discripe their music, but it might be better to just hear them play live.
BloodMoon will continue it’s search for the right mixture of Death and Melodic Metal.
It's a 5 track Mini-EP, and it is just a sample of things to come, we are curently working hard on our first full-length album.
We hope to start recording it, early 2010, so keep your eyes and ears open for the updates.

yeah i recogniced you released your CD which is really cool. We are really looking forward to release our album too but we didn..t except that much work to finish it all.
After the mix of the album we will take a little break to work on new material. I guess in the end of 2009 we will play more shows again. Of course we will play together again. When the record is out and we are going to arrange some shows I will think of you!
Nou, wij zijn wel samen met wat andere bands iets aan het regelen, maar ik weet niet of ze nog meer bands nodig hebben. Zodra ik hier meer over weet zal ik het doormailen ;) Groeten, Harald

hey guys! sorry for the late reply, i had a little exam stress the last weeks! great to hear that your CD is going into final stage, looking forward to it :) gigs are a little bit problematic here too. münster is not known for its many metal-concerts ;) but its getting better. would be great to play with you guys again, but we cant promise anything atm. sucks... we also have our only 2 gigs confirmed relatively far away.
Yo gaste, alles okeey? Over een paar maanden willen wij wat gigs organiseren met wat heftige bands in de buurt. Ik heb het er al met Bas over gehad en hem lijkt t ook vet om in de toekomst es wat gigs samen te doen. Ik hoor wel of jullie interesse hebben.
Am 24.01.2009 findet im Cafe Sputnik Münster ein Seminar zum Thema "Deathinteresse" statt. Gegen eine Schutzgebühr von 5€ werden folgende Programmpunkte geboten. Anschließend kann in der Sputnikhalle über die vorgestellten Denkansätze diskutiert werden.
