My page is in the works right now -
I am a self taught pyrographer. 95% of my stuff is burned without presketching or tracings. I base most of my work on photographs, designs on other objects, and a few off the top of my head. I have only been burning since 2005 and I find it to be very relaxing.
This year we will be doing a limited number of shows due to other ventures. We are moving to Aradia's Closet in Pace come July - watch for updates! Other items I work on is ATCs. I had made an attempt to make some of these woodburned but find myself working with a lot more paper than I had planned. ATCs are not for sale - they are for trade. If you would like to swap ATCs, please message me so we can coordinate a swap!
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
I am woking on getting better photos to share with everyone of my work. I thank you for your patience.
Moonpheonyx Desgins has tons of artistic associations!
There are three kinds of people -- people who make things happen, people who watch things happen, and people who don’t know what’s happening. Which kind are you?
Make your own Egyptian Coil Bracelet with this Tutorial! The Egyptian Coil technique is as ancient as the pyramids. During the excavation of an Egyptian tomb, a royal mummy was discovered with a necklace created with this technique. The original designers identity is lost in the sands of time but the technique remains a classic. While there is a very complex look to this bracelet is really fairly simple to construct. Add a framed bead clasp to update the look a little and you have this smashing bracelet! In this tutorial you will learn to make an Egyptian coil bracelet as well as the attractive framed bead clasp shown in the picture. Please note that the technique for the bead embellishments on the coil is not included in this tutorial. For more information on this tutorial, please visit my website at DeliaStone.com .
