Formed in 1992, Moonraisers have had the time to develop their own style. First impressions make you think of electro-reggae. In fact, its a unique genre that goes under the name of WorldnMoonstyle Reggae in which roots reggae is mixed with funk, world music and electro. Whilst their last album, Human, demonstrates their perfect mastery of the genre, lovers of good vibrations should not miss the groups live show. Charismatic and generous, the Moonraisers always leave behind them the feeling that something very special has been shared.
MOONRAISERS HUMAN TOUR
Human, the last album and part of the live program of the MOONRAISERS, is a synergy of musical impressions, a reflection on some facets of human being, the moonstyle definition of humanity. It is the successful result of a meticulous work on compositions, arrangements, sounds, lyrics and producing. The HUMAN Tour took the Moonraisers to a lot of unforgettable concerts in 2004. Different projects are planed for 2005 : a new album, some festivals, concerts in foreign countries, like in France, where the album Human is already distributed with great success (to be continued)

The Moonraisers, that means more than 600 professional shows, the production of 8 CDs, the participation to 6 samplers, more than 500000 downloads and listenings, an enormous commitment and potential.
With more than 10 years of experience on stage and thanks to the perfect interaction between the musicians, the Moonraisers succeed in joining together old, Roots Reggae with World, Funk or Electro. Since some time the Moonraisers are in studio preparing their next album and the new tour. The new live-set is better than ever! With their new sensational repertoire, their charismatic presence on stage and the special instrumentation (vocals, guitars, bass, drums, percussion, saxophone, trombone, didgeridoo, keyboards, etc.) the Moonraisers still offer a musical happening that gets more and more seldom nowadays.
The musical development of the Moonraisers, the growing fame, the big experience, the long and positive co-operation between the members of the band and other people involved in this project, the perfect chances on international level and the positive feedbacks show the big potential of this band.
The Moonraisers band was founded in 1992 and the first twelve songs were recorded. Many things happened since then. In the meantime the Moonraisers created their own WolrdnMoonstyle Reggae. With a lot of ambitions, intentions and personal commitment of everyone a lot of songs were created during the rehearsals, songs which had a growing success during the concerts (look at the concert list). The studio-sessions and productions were challenges for the band. Some musicians changed, but the motivation is still the same: offering an innovative musical happening on one side and asking questions with socio-critical lyrics on the other side. The Moonraisers reached a professional level and never stopped to develop hemselves, as the last CD productions mirror, Hotel California and legacy show (look at discography). Thanks to all the support and the active assistance from different people, the whole idea became the Moonraisers project - you will hear about it!

Hello les mans! J'ai vu Jaba hier soir à l'Aréna de Genève qui est venu chanter "Rise up" avec Yves Larock aux Platines dans la soirée NRJ Music Tour. (Pour vous rassurer j'était présent à cette soirée parce je travail à l'Aréna) Cette soirée était pourri au possible avec des chanteurs et chanteuses plus nul que tout. Genre Alizée ou encore M. Pokora. A la fin de la soirée Jaba est arrivé et il a tout détruit! La classe!
