   About Moonshine Crows
An internationally unknown guitarist, singer and songwriter, Kent originally hails from far away. He has spent most of his life on the run, after escaping from the Mother ship and tunnelling his way out of Area 51. Kent then proceeded to wander the United States, playing guitar and making strange animal noises till people gave him money to go away. A few years ago, he was nearly caught by quasi-governmental forces, but by a combination of ventriloquism, a strange animal noise and the general stupidity of all governmental workers, he was able to escape to Lake Ontario, where he stole a canoe. Eventually he washed up onto the English coast sunburned, tired and almost out of Guinness. He settled in London for a time trying to start a Yak breading farm in Regents Park, but was caught and deported to Hull. (TRANSLATION: Kent has been playing as both a solo act and in many bands throughout the US and Europe for a long time, he moved to England close to four years ago to be with his Lady. They lived in London, then in 2006 they moved to Hull and adopted three kittens and two Goldfish. He met Gareth over the 2006 summer, and Tracey later in the fall.) Tracey, the bass guitarist, originally from a Manchester council estate began her musical path on violin at the tender age of four. Although lacking experience of a gigging band as such, has taken part in musical projects in UK and USA before joining the ranks of the Appreciation Society of Young Lazy and Unpaid Musicians (ASYLUM). You can check out her own page @ tracey's myspace. Cuban born NYC native Myztico, Tico to his mates, is a self taught guitarist who has played with numerous bands in the NYC area. He has toured the USA and Europe with the band'HEAL!' and has done numerous recordings with NYC & UK bands. Tico is also a visonary surrealist and film maker. His work can be seen @ Tico's webpage. Moving to London from Yorkshire to study at the Musicians Institute Gareth played in and gigged with bands around london and during that time spending almost 4 month playing at the Hammersmith Apollo with Riverdance. Gareth toured with Riverdance across the UK,Europe,Japan,NZ and Australia for about 5 years (give or take a couple of months). After a long rest he started playing, writing, arranging with singer/songwriters. Moonshine Crows started up after the band met up from adverts put up around Hull & the internet for a band who would just go with the flow of things. Lots of songs have been wrote around a kitchen table and there's lots of gigs, both electric and acoustic to come in the future. PANTHER - 7 HERTZ - TIGERS! @ PACKHORSE - THURS MAY 1st

Leeds - 208 Woodhouse Lane - LS2 9DX - DOORS - 8pm £5

Panther

Panther is some mutant form of Charlie. Having recently supported The Gossip, Panther’s music is hard match of damaged soul, falsetto disco and broken synth fueled freakouts which is as addictive as it is challenging. This solo affair of Charlie Salas-Humara isn’t easily ignored for his unpredictable and energetic performances tainted with throbbing bass, minimalistic hooks and jittery dance routines. Panther’s influences run deep and take as much from Pop and R&B as Free Jazz and Punk.

7Hertz

Fluid and engaging, 7 Hertz fluctuate and mutate live before your very ears. incorporating all or none of the following instruments - basson, violin, voice, double bass, french horn, glockenspiel, clarinet, mandolin, trumpet - they improvise glorious pieces with total, beautiful spontaneity.

Tigers!

Tigers! - either the worlds most criminally underated band. TIGERS! we're kicking ass when PANTHER we're completing the american version of the KEY STAGE ONE exam! TIGERS! have played with almost every good band on earth including COUGHS, KIT, THE LOCUST, EATS TAPES, FELIX KUBIN, WOLVES...ETC! TIGERS! are not funky! Thats just bullshit talk to encourage people to get into PRINCE! TIGERS! will kick your dick clean off regardless of whether you have one or not.

to paraphrase m.j. fox '....maybe you guys aren't ready for this yet.....but your kids are gonna love it.'
