Moonshine Summit was founded by Kirk Madden and April Wilcox in 2006. We started off just sitting around our living room learning to play our favorite songs by our favorite bands. After writing a few originals of our own, we picked up a regular gig on Wed. evenings at the Last Concert Cafe' where we have had the pleasure of playing with a rotation of local musicans. Our inspiration is certainly on the jamband and bluegrass wavelength. In addition to our original music, our play list includes songs by: New Monsoon, Hot Buttered Rum, The String Cheese Incident, Phish, Scruggs and Flatt, The Beatles, Johny Cash... and many others.
We currently have a weekly gig at The Last Concert Cafe (lastconcert.com) on Wednesday evenings from 7:30 til 9:30. We also do club gigs and private parties.
