Meet Moonstone Star White, mystical visionary and spiritual maverick. Growing up on a farm in rural Iowa provided her early years with an abundance of contemplation time spent outdoors in nature. First a writer and a poet by nature, she graduated in 1977 with a journalism degree from Iowa State, working her way through college at as a hotel bartender and cafeteria food server. At different times since then she has been a free-lance batik and watercolor artist, massage therapist, spiritual energy healer, aroma therapist, aromatherapy workshop instructor, artistic mask-maker, hypnotherapist and real estate broker.

At the age of 25, Moonstone had a life-altering experience of spiritual bliss and insight. In the years following, she pursued a variety of careers and explored as many avenues of personal growth and spiritual transformation as time and money would allow. She began journaling realizations and ideas in the early nineties, and as a coherent message began to form, she developed a habit of "sourcing" information in what she calls "stream-of-consciousness" writing in the early morning hours. In her new book, High Way From Hell, she put together this collection of ideas to show the reader in an experiential way how personal judgments limit the authentic expression of our spiritual natures.

Moonstone has been a practitioner of Transcendental Meditation, yoga, Tai Chi, Qi Gong and received a brown belt in Shotokan karate. Later she became an ordained minister through the Universal Life Church, which respects the unique and personal nature of spiritual experience.

As a spiritual intuitive with a questioning mind, deepening her understanding of the fundamental nature of existence has been the passion of a lifetime. Her interest in how the mind interacts with experienced reality led her to become a hypnotherapist. She is certified by the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association, the National Guild of Hypnotists, the American Board of Hypnotherapy and the International Hypnosis Federation. She is also a member of the International Association of Counselors and Therapists.

With graceful candor and impeccable honesty, Moonstone translates the experiential data of her life into spiritual wisdom anyone can easily grasp and utilize.
