   About Moore & Sons
LOCAL ATTACHMENTS , the new cd ready May 08 , new songs a plenty- raw,loose,trippy,rootsy,rock,folk,pop,blues...new songs posted soon.. Moore performed as part of 77 Boa drum, a once in a lifetime piece created by Japanese Avant/Rock group the Boredoms. 77 ..look into it if you hadnt already heard .... Some history -- M played drums in Negative Approach (seminal hardcore band out of Detroit) still selling on Chicago’s Touch and Go label. Continues to be popular and respected in the underground, ocassional ’reunion’ gigs, ATP festival, Touch And Go Anniversary & various Stateside and European events ..

Formed Crossed Wire(1987-1996), a roots pop combo, toured East coast and Midwest in support of two LPs and two CDs,had a very loyal following and moderate success.

More recent -- solo outings, touring, writing, drawing, and hustling. Five CDs in the bag, all reaching further than the last. Traces of folk, blues, psychedelia, pop, jazz and rock using a variety of instrumentations /arrangements to best fit each song’s story and or theme.Current release " Us Fools " on UK’s TRiumphant Sounds/ DrawingRoom Label

Now --Joining Moore’s guitar and piano and vox are- Gary Langol on double bass, organ, piano, guitar; Adam Gold on drums, vibes, percussion: Tom Gavin on various guitars; and Dennis Cronin on trumpet, accordian, vibes, and percussion. Together M and Sons show a shared commitment not only to the band as a living, breathing entity, but also minng their own individual eclecticism..

Thanks for a wonderful evening of great music at the Tramontane. The full-band experience was superb, and everyone's performance knocked me out. The new LP is fan-frickin-tastic! We felt so lucky, privileged and honored to have you in our place. Be well and take care.

Hey,
Chris, Dennis, Tom, Gary and Adam,
Wow you sure know how to mix up the potion. I didn't know where I was for a half hour. Your set live on WFMU was nothing but spectacular. That new song #3 was mighty indeed.

I'll see you somewhere down the trail.

Respect,
Dan B.

Hey Chris,

How are you.

Just to let you know. We've got a couple great free shows coming up in NYC.

Thursday, Pete's Candy Store: 9pm Williamsburg

Saturday, Postcrypt Coffeehouse 9pm (on Columbia campus. INCREDIBLE small venue)

To reiterate a previous email. We would love love love to join you at The Living Room. That would be our first choice in the whole city for where to play, but as out of towners, we've had a hard time gaining their good favor.

Hope to see you soon. Best,

Ben
