I cartoon, I rant, I blog. And I'm a librarian.
The Cartoonist Part
I currently draw the weekly webcomic, Wanderlost, formerly known as Sheldon the Pig. New installments appear at every Monday at Modern Tales.
"Into the Woods", the first story line, has been collected into a full-color 20-page comic book. Buy it at Comixpress.

I also draw the twice-weekly political comic strip, In Contempt, currently running at Webcomics Nation. Strips have appeared in student weekly newspapers, Z Magazine, Portland Alliance, and Z Magazine. In 2004 my work appeared along with an interview and several other cartoonists I admire in ATTITUDE 2: The New Subversive Social Commentary Cartoonists, edited by Ted Rall.

The Librarian Part
I am a part-time reference librarian at Mount Hood Community College and a part-time reference and instructional librarian at Portland Community College.
I earned a Master's in Library Science from Emporia State University's School of Library and Information Management, Oregon cohort 6.
Currently I blog sporadically on issues relevant to youth services in public libraries at two blogs:
- YA Lit - A couple colleagues and I set this up to review Young Adult literature we have read and liked (mostly).
- Kids Music Resources for Librarians - My colleague and sometime partner in crime Mary Davis started this blog and invited me to contribute.
