Moor Music Festival is an independent and beautiful weekend party held in the stunning, rolling hills of good ole Yorkshire. The cutting (h)edge and diverse programme of music, arts and activities ranges wildly and wonderfully from acoustic to reggae, Burlesque strip to Arthouse cinema and pingpongathons to drumming workshops. Moor Music Festival unites the arts and brings people together. The Devils Jukebox	May 1 2009 10:07 PM Howdy Folks! Following the rip-roaring, rootin’ tootin’ success of our opening night ho-down with the Lovesick Cowboys, RIGHTEOUS! is back at SELA BAR, (20, New Briggate) on THURSDAY 7th APRIL. This is our monthly DJ night featuring the music of the 20’s, 30’s, 40’s and the first half of the 50’s, and a performance from a different traditional band each time- this go round it’s the turn of the CASH MACHINE, Yorkshire’s finest Johnny Cash tribute act, who’ll be on a little earlier than the Cowboys, (about 9:30), to regale you with a full 45 minutes of Cash classics. Sadly Lotus and I won’t be able to DJ that night but stepping up to the 78 rpm plate with a shed-load of shellac shit-kickers are our resident spinners the lovely Miss Rosie Love and the inimitable Mr David Broad with a fine selection of jazz, blues, and hillbilly stomp. All this and it’s only £2 in, so SPREAD THE GOSPEL! Doors 8pm.
