The sound: Blend some 70's hard rock with stoner, progressive and psychedelic space rock and there you have it.
Moped does not pursue a certain sound or does not pursue to sound like any other act. The outcome of their music is probably the sum of the input of the individuals, who are - obviously - influenced by the music and sounds that surround them.....

Formed in 2005, Moped has been evolving from the very beginning. Starting with "regular rock", they finally seem to have found their identity. Since the individual members seem to have some affinity with that late 60's and following 70's thing, they now pick some elements of that era to introduce into their music. But never with the intention to imitate - there are no boundaries really.

With the addition of new drummer Bas and thus giving Alex room to concentrate on vocals, things have improved both musically and on stage.
