Moped bio: As one of San Francisco's staple indie acts, Moped's organic brand of dance music has kept bodies movin' since 2003. Multitasker Peter Gavin (vocals, sax, bass, and synth) leads the duo, while drummer Scott Eberhardt brings the funk and ties the room together like a rug!
Interspersed between electro, avant jazz and heady trip-hop originals, Moped lightens the mood with covers such as "Push It" and Hall and Oates' "Maneater." Their use of abstract visuals and quirky cult movies (projected behind them) completes the cinematic quality of their live shows. They have released four albums on Richie Records and their most recent Moped Moves On is now available.
