About me:
WHO is MOPS for?
MOPS stands for Mothers Of Pre-Schoolers was created for EVERY mother pregnant and/or with children up to age 6.
What is MOPS?
MOPS provides an open, comfortable, caring and accepting atmosphere for a wide variety of different moms-urban, sub-urban, and rural moms, stay at home and working moms, teen, single and married moms and moms with very different life styles who all share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be.
Where and when is MOPS?
MOPS meets September thru May at Court Street Christian Church located at 1699 Court St. N.E Salem OR, 97301.
MOPS offers 2 different days and times so that we can better meet your needs!
*Morning MOPS meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month from 9-11 AM.
*Evening MOPS meets every Wednesday from 6:45-8:15 PM.
Please, if neither of these days or times work for you and your schedule let us know! We appreciate the feedback.
What about June-August?
Don't worry Morning MOPS will continue to meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month between 10:30 AM-Noon at various parks through out Salem and the surrounding area. And in addition to the park dates both Morning and Evening MOPS will have plenty of fun, Mom or kid/family friendly activates planned.

Why should I join?
Because MOPS is a place for love, encouragement, guidance, understanding, friendship and laughter. Its the chance to connect with other moms who all share a similar stage in motherhood.
What can I expect?
First off a warm and friendly welcome. Then, of course you are encouraged to drop off your child or children in the appropriate child care class where they will enjoy a fun time full of stories, games, snack and age appropriate activates*. After, you'll have the oppertunity to enjoy a fun time full of tasty breakfast treats, informative and inspiring speakers, great discussion groups, fun crafts and entertaining conversation with other moms and with out kids!
*Nursing babies are welcome to attend our meetings with mom. Child care is currently free of charge and workers have requirements including a background check!

so theres a meeting tomorrow where is this place?? and i dont know if i would want other people watching my twins there only 7 months old.. can they come with me into the "meeting area"
I just wanted to say thank you. I went to MOPS for the first time today and had a really good time. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. I have been trying to find a way to make some friends here in Salem and feel that this will be a good opportunity for me. I look forward to the next meeting. Once again, thank you.
