About me: Slainte!!! We are the Moravian College Moravian Star Irish Dance Troupe. We are a new dance troupe as of Fall 2005. Instructors are Dawn Parker, a 2006 Moravian College graduate, and her assistant Jacque Parker who attends DeSales University. Moravian College is the first Lehigh Valley College to have an Irish dance troupe. The Moravian Stars are a beginner Irish dance group that feature mostly soft shoe dances, with the add in of hard shoe from the three instructors. They perform traditional and contemporary style movements of Irish dance to foot-tapping and hand-clapping Irish music.
