Morbid Tales“ aus dem Raum Bremen/Bremerhaven haben sich selbst dem melodischen Thrash-Metal zugeordnet und eindrucksvoll 2 klassische Musikbereiche des Metal Genres in Verbindung gestellt. Hier entstand ein innovatives flüssiges Gefüge zwischen Melodic-Metal und Thrash-Metal, wobei aber auch andere Musikrichtungen nicht klar ausgegrenzt, sondern geschickt und prägnant mit einbezogen wurden. „Morbid Tales“ überzeugen durch eine intelligente Symbiose zwischen ruhigen melodischen Anteilen in Verbindung mit wahrer Härte, schnellen Power-Grooves und eingängigen Gesangseinlagen. Die 6 köpfige Crew formierte sich aus verschiedenen lokalen Bands wie; Megiddo, Silk99, Mowha oder TheNowNoise! Und besteht seit Februar 2010 aus 1 Gitarre, 2 Keyboards, Bass, Geige, Drums und Gesang. Der Grundbaustein wurde schon vor etwa 20 Jahren unter dem Namen „Megiddo“ gelegt und ab 2006 in das Konzept „Morbid Tales“ umgesetzt. Die Band hat bis dato unter dem Namen „Megiddo“ 2Longplayer und eine EP in Eigenproduktion veröffentlicht, sowie mit dem Namen „Morbid Tales“ den Longplayer „Psychotic mind dance“ der im Jahre 2007 ebenfalls unter Eigenproduktion erschienen ist, sowie die brandneue aktuelle EP- „Come Inside“. Die 4 intelligent verbundenen Melodic-Thrash-Metal-Hymnen zeigen, dass man verschiedene Musikrichtungen sehr wohl unter einem Hut eindrucksvoll verpacken und präsentieren kann. Die Thematiken handeln oft von sozialen und gesellschaftlichen Grenz- und Randgebieten die meistens von Einsamkeit, Zorn, Schmerz, sowie Ängsten und psychischen Entgleisungen gezeichnet sind die nur das wahre Leben schreiben kann. Auch bei Live-Auftritten verstehen es die „krankhaften Geschichtenerzähler“ gekonnt zu überzeugen. Dieses haben sie mit namenhaften Bands wie; Ektomorf / Martin Keseci‘ / Die Apokalyptischen Reiter / usw. auf zahlreichen Live- Veranstaltungen schon unter Beweis gestellt. „Morbid Tales“ werden auch zu Beginn des kommenden Jahres 2011 den nächsten Longplayer aufnehmen der dort nahtlos ansetzen wird wo die aktuelle EP- „Come Inside“ ausklingt. Ein absolutes „Muss“ für jeden Musikbegeisterten Metal-Fan der ruhigen und harten Töne. Diese Band sollte in keinem CD-Regal fehlen. Hier muss man gezwungenermaßen dem Motto der brandneuen und aktuellen EP- „Come Inside“ folgen; „Come Inside and have a look“– “Welcome Inside on the other side“ Der aktuelle erschienene Silberling hört auf den Namen "Planet Death" und zeigt erneut, dass die 6 köpfige Band sich stetig weiter entwickelt. In gewohnter Manier werden verschiedene Musikrichtungen zu einem rhythmischen und schlüssigem Melodic-Thrash-Metal-Paket verpackt. Songs wie "Night Of The Living Dead", "Resist The Mirror" oder "Human End" beschreiben eindrucksvoll das fortlaufend gesellschaftliche Sterben des Planeten "Terra". Was sich im endlosen Egoismus von Neid, Habgier und Krieg sowie der Züchtung von bedrohlichen Krankheiten und der negativen Manipulation unserer Welt zeigt. Die oft doppeldeutig wirkenden Texte lassen viel Spielraum für Eigeninterpretationen. "Morbid Tales" zeigen hier eine hörbare Weiterentwicklung im technischen und musikalischen Bereich. Man merkt bereits beim Opener, dass die arrangierten Instrumente, Melodien, Rhythmiken und Gesänge perfekt und sauber wie in einander greifende Zahnräder funktionieren. "Planet Death" erscheint wie gewohnt sehr melodisch, aber auch deutlich härter als seine bisherigen Vorgänger. Markante Power-Riffs im Dauerwechsel mit melodischen Gitarrensolis und Keyboardmelodien, die durch hämmernde Basslinien und wechselnde Drumfiguren nahtlos zu einem kraftvollen Fundament verbunden werden. Diese Mischung bietet daher einen perfekten Nährboden für die ebenfalls sehr abwechslungsreichen Gesangsparts in den Growl-, Scream-, Rock- und Cleanpassagen. Ein Gesamtkonstrukt mit melodischen Thrash-Death-Metal-Kompositionen bis hin zur abschließenden Metal-Ballade, das beim Durchhören durchgehend sehr erwachsen klingt. Der gewohnte Ohrwurmcharakter von "Morbid Tales" ist wie immer vorhanden, und "Planet Death" schließt sich mit seiner neuen Härte nahtlos an seine Vorgänger an.
