Les morceaux anatomiques nasce come trio nel Gennaio 2006 con l’intenzione di dedicarsi alla stesura di brani propri. Il gruppo è formato da:
Alessia Praticò al basso e voce;Marco Ponta alla chitarra e voce;Paolo Merlini alla batteria.
Tutti i componenti collaborano alla creazione dei brani che risultano un mix delle proprie influenze musicali: dal rock al noise, dal new wave al post; nella primavera del 2007 incidono un promo di tre pezzi presso lo studio Wanton di Alessandria.
Nonostante l’oggettiva difficoltà a suonare un repertorio interamente proprio nei locali di musica live, Les morceaux anatomiques riescono a proporsi in alcuni locali della provincia di Pavia, di Asti, al festival rock di Calamandrana al contest rock dell'associazione Orquestra.
Parallelamente il gruppo continua a concentrarsi sulla stesura di nuovi brani.
A ottobre 2008 si aggiunge nell’organico il polistrumentista Alessio Bertucci, con il quale si lavora sull’arrangiamento dei pezzi con l’intento di arrichirli rispetto alla naturale essenzialità del modello power trio fino ad allora proposto.A dicembre si assiste ad un avvicendamento dietro le pelli della batteria tra Merlini e il nuovo drummer Fabio Matranga che si dimostra perfettamente allineato con il genere e nelle intenzioni già dalla prima prova. Nel 2009 sono numerose le date, soprattutto grazie ad Orquestra: Thunder Road a Codevilla, Birraio di Siviglia a Bressana Bottarone,The Wall a Portalbera, Alessandria al Bon Bon Caffè e al Centro sportivo Don Stornini.
Ad Agosto il gruppo decide di autoprodurre il primo album, che comprende 8 brani inediti, in collaborazione con lo Studio Fisherprais di Pontecurone per il missaggio e masterizzazione. Il lavoro sarà terminato entro fine anno.

LMA was born as a trio in January 2006 with the purpose of writing their own lyrics.
The band,from 2006 to 2008 was formed by Alessia (bass gtr+vocals), Marco (gtr+vocals) and Paolo (drums).
Everyone takes part in the composition of music which is a mix of LMA's influences: rock, noise, new wave, post-punk...
At June 2007 they recorded a 3 songs-demo at Wanton Studio, Alessandria.
Although the difficulty of playing its own songs in live music clubs, LMA played in some clubs in the province of Pavia, Asti, in a rock festival in Calamandrana, in a rock contest named Orquestra.
At the same time the band continued writing their new lyrics.
In October 2008 the new instrumentalist Alessio took part in the band; from that moment there was the intention of re-arranging the tracks with new sounds different from the essential trio suggested.
In December Paolo moved away and the new drummer Fabio took his place, feeling LMA's intentions.
Now the band is re-arranging the tracks and soon they will record an album and playing live the more they can.

Più gratificante è cercare le citazioni letterarie sparse (Lee Masters e Carver, oltre alla napoleonica corrispondenza d’amorosi sensi del titolo), crogiolarsi negli accenti patetici che lo costellano senza tregua, cogliere i numerosi intarsi naif dei fin troppo scriccioli brani, bearsi delle illogicità nelle introflesse strutture-canzone. ..
