About me:
Have my own business which advises a number of companies on their Sales & Marketing. I've been playing bass guitar (badly) since December 2003 and using my sales techniques to get most of the gigs over the last 18 months or so. We're now regulars at places like the Hard Rock Cafe and I'm the author of Gig-Getter: How to Get More Gigs than you can play (http://www.gig-getter.co.uk). Gig-Getter is a gig-getting guide for semi-pro and amateur bands and musicians. I've since written about gig-getting for Sound Control's Reverb magazine and am now a regular contributor on gig-getting to Bass Guitar Magazine.
