Moreh's Tree is a metal (one man )band from French West Indies . It first appeared under the name of Skog Skrike Blod , then Skogens Blod Grater .
It took the name of Moreh's Tree in late January 2007 , as the concept had changed .
In Hebrew Moreh means something like Knowledge or Teaching , like to teach something that makes one grow . Moreh's Oak tree appears in the Scriptures as a place where Abraham received the teaching from the mouth of the Most High , it symbolises both strengh and knowledge . I thought it was good to chose a name that symbolise something strong but at the same time very deep .
Moreh's Tree 's history is hard to define . I've started to be involved in music something like 6 years or 7 years ago , singing in a choir , then learning traditional drums . Then I started a electro grindcore band called Ezechias ...it was the first time that I ever recorded something .Then I started a project called Kult Of Yeshoua in 2003/2004 , mostly industrial (exept for one album ) , I'm still involved in this project . Then in the beginning of 2005 I started Skog Skrike Blod , a black metal band , I renamed it Skogens Blod Grater after , because Skog Skrike Blod's translation was too raw . I really enjoyed that project . And for this reason I didn't kill it , I just changed the concept , and renamed it again .
I hope it will bear a lot of fruits .
