Cool Metal Bands I like that you may not have checked out yet: Sevendust My fav band Puya Salsa + Metal! BleedTheSky Kinda like Chimaira Threat Signal Heavy stuff Kamelot Power Metal band, kinda like Queensryche Kritickill Metal with a ballsy bluesy singer Portal Kinda like NIN but not as nasty SymphonyX Cheesy Power Metal Band, fun stuff if you can stomache it =D Celldweller Kindof a poppish industrial dude. I dig it though Alterbridge Awesome melodic metal. Creed but now good instead of crap. New singer, sounds like Chris Cornell to me. CircusOfDeadSquirrels Insane industiral music...truly insane...but awesome (though sometimes too insane) Psychostick Hilarious comedic metal band I found on Soundclick. Two Ton Paperweight's first 5 seconds had me hooked.
I'll keep adding more. I find new bands all the time thanks to Garageband.com.
I am composer who has edited, arranged, and performed music for over 100 episodes of Dragonball Z.
I also wrote the score for Activision's Empires, Dawn of the Modern World.
Now I work as a test developer for Microsoft's Xbox. I still write in my spare time and occasionally for MS demos and such.
We used to be called "Mumrik" that was looking for a singer and now we finally found a singer and the band name became STM since we are working together at a distance of 6000miles from Leeds, UK to Kyoto, Japan. We have uploaded 3 songs now. Check out how it works.
i seriously love any music inspired by dbz..i just looked you up on the internet and i must say this shit kicks ass..now maybe a remake of the ssj vegeta theme would be bad!
I don't know if Faulconer still has his studio there, but I think about you every time I drive by where it was on Garland Rd.. I think it's "Kitchen Studios" now. If I weren't so lazy, I'd go dig up his business card and check...
"Way of the Mystic" kicked my ass. about 7 years after i've first heard your work and i must say i'm still inspired every time. Makes me feel like watching some DBZ after work! Great job, man.
That's the idea...I'm tryna listen to your music but my internet is hideously slow right now >_< I'll let chu know what i think once I'm fast again.
I have a question for you, if it's not too much of a bother - What was working on DBZ like, from a production point of view? Also, did you and Bruce have an altercation of some sort that led you to leave CakeMix or something coz that's what I gathered from the blog...
Hey there Morgan, many thanks for the request! It's very much appreciated! I am a huge fan of DB, DBZ and DBGT. And also a big fan of Bruce's work! And you sound great as well! you have the sound allright! I tried to play some of the stuff, and well.. ah yeah.. i can do a little.. Keep it up!!
