My friends (including the absolute love of my life Kyle), music and music history and literature, basically anything to further my knowledge on the subject. Football, baseball, reading, art (Dali is my favorite), poetry (e.e. cummings...yum...), astronomy and science in general. Not so much interested in pop culture. F*ck Paris Hilton. No, not literally, you don't know where that's been. Tattoos and piercings, Killian's Red and Stroh's, motorcycles, creatures of fantasy, celestial designs...I like to be one of those people that knows a fair to moderate amount on almost any subject. Booooorr-ring, I know. That's me! Jack of all trades, master of none. Except blowjobs. Pretty proficient at those.
Your purpose in life is to inspire others
Your amazing energy draws people to you, and you give them great insight in return.
You hold a great amount of power over others, without even trying.
You have the makings of an inventor, artist, religious leader, or prophet.
In love, you are sensitive and passionate. You connect with your partner on a very deep level.
You have great abilities, but you are often way too critical of yourself.
You don't fit in - and instead of celebrating your differences, you dwell on them.
You have high expectations of yourself. But sometimes you set them too high and don't achieve anything.
I have the CD collection of a schizophrenic. In no particular order: Sinatra (I just might be the biggest 24-year old Sinatra fan currently in existence), Metallica, Beethoven, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Sublime, Social Distortion, Fatboy Slim, Ben Folds (Five), Stevie Ray Vaughn, Buddy Rich, Louis Armstrong, Benny Goodman, Chanticleer, Johnny Cash, Blues Traveler, Phish, Brian Setzer (Stray Cats), TooL, Tom Jones (he's such a f*cking pimp...), Rachmaninov, Eric Whitacre, Maynard Ferguson, Dropkick Murphys, Bach, Dave Brubeck...little bit of random techno...I could go on and on. Basically it boils down to Jazz, Classic Rock (Aerosmith, Zepplin, Seger), Modern Rock (Nickelback, Three Days Grace, System of a Down), Classical/Romantic, and, again, Sinatra, who just defies catagorization. I have a huge amount of respect and appreciation for Eminem and a select few other hip-hop and rap artists.
Movies
Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Kevin Smith films, Waiting, Office Space, The Breakfast Club, Kill Bill (or, rather, ANYTHING Terintino...), Pirates of the Caribbean (I heart Captain Jack Sparrow), Star Wars, Harry Potter, Accepted, Silence of the Lambs, Boondock Saints, Poolhall Junkies (I also heart Christopher Walken)...Ladder 49, Million Dollar Baby (I bawled like a calf at the end of those two). Starsky & Hutch will always have a special place in my heart. I like comedies, and movies that make you a better person just for having watched them.
Television
I don't watch a whole lot of T.V., but I like Family Guy, ATHF, Harvey Birdman (it's got bitchin' theme music)...basic Adult Swim stuff. My Name is Earl is really funny too. I don't watch reality T.V., or any of those uber-over-the-top game shows like "Deal or No Deal" or whatever...I sure as hell miss Bill Nye the Science Guy.
You Are Animal
A complete lunatic, you're operating on 100% animal instincts.
You thrive on uncontrolled energy, and you're downright scary.
But you sure can beat a good drum.
"Kill! Kill!"
Ahh yes...The Muppets...now *there's* a show that I miss...remember the Swedish Chef? "Yee dish-cur yerm de derm da-deesh skadoo...ya-deet dee da durm dee dee durm mort mort mort! And now we put the chocolate...on de moose...here, moose-moose!"
Books
I love to read. Love. Did I mention I love reading? I love it. If I could read only one book for the rest of my life it would be "Good Night, Mr. Tom" by Michelle Magorian. I also love the Narnia series (C.S. Lewis), Redwall books (Brian Jaques), A Song of Ice and Fire series (George R.R. Martin), The Obsidian Trilogy (Mallory/Lackey), the Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind, and anything by Agatha Christie or about Frank Sinatra. I dig Stephen King. Also, "The Da Vinci Code" rocks my world, yo.
Heroes
My mom, many of my teachers/professors, Rachmaninov, Elvis, open, outspoken homosexuals, the incomperable force of nature known as Frank Sinatra, and...
About me: First and foremost, I am a complete music geek. I'm not even one of those cool music geeks, either. I play the euphonium. Yeah. That's right. Yoo-fo-nee-um. I also play percussion, tuba, tenor sax, bass clarinet, and trombone. I enjoy smoking cloves and menthol cigarettes (did I mention I sing 2nd alto?). I wish animals could talk. Subtlety is not my strong suit. I like cheese. A lot. The most feminine things about me are my middle name and the fact that my bathroom is coordinated. I view the world in varying shades of grey, hardly anything in black and white (there is no spoon!). I love pugs! Wherever I am, I'd rather be camping. I love to shoot pool, even though I'm not very good. I'm not overly fond of cats. I'm a big fan of Chinese buffets. Maybe those two statements don't belong back-to-back. I think iris are the most beautiful flowers on the planet. I love thunderstorms. I've been described as "outlandish" and, my personal favorite, "irreverent". I am of the opinion that I connect with squirrels on a spiritual level (derive from that what you will). Anyway, in a nutshell (squirrel!), I am a complete contradiction of various, multi-faceted qualities. So...yeah. That's my story, tah-dah.
Was good seeing you again. The gang ended showing up 30 min after you left. They were bummed that they missed you.... I told them you had been hoping they were there. Hope all is well :)

POP QUIZ! Someone with whom you used to work misses you. In 10,000,000 words or less, name this person and update him or her (HINT: him) on how things have been for you lately. Go!
Another reason I'm a bad friend: I totally spaced on wishing you a happy birthday! I hope it was awesome and I hope you had fun. Next time you hug someone, call him Matt and pretend it's me since I don't ever actually see you to hug you myself... Miss you!
