Poetry First of all of course William Shakespeare (he is the boss really:-D), but then also W. B. Yeats, Ingeborg Bachmann, Marie Luise Kaschnitz, Erich Fried, E. A. Poe, and many more.
Music Leonard Cohen, Cat Stevens, Bob Dylan, Donovan, Uriah Heep, Supertramp, Dire Straits, Pink Floyd, Eagles/Don Henley, R.E.M., Meat Loaf, Don McLean, Depeche Mode, U2, Damien Rice, Simple Minds, Deine Lakaien, Runrig, Loreena McKennitt .... and J. S. Bach, G. F. Handel, Ray Lynch, Frederic Hand, Andreas Vollenweider - there are so many, cannot list them all. In fact I listen to a variety of music, not much related to a special style.
In fact I am not a band, but writing lyrics and poems. As MySpace does not provide any space for that genre atm I decided to use this part. Meanwhile 3 of my lyrics are performed by Hugh Dench a.k.a. Sven Lee - so I guess I am not completely wrong in this place :-)
I have been writing poems since I was 16 years old, but since I joined SecondLife in February 2007 I am writing much more and I made a book out of some in SL. Also 2 of my poems have been published in the sLiterary Magazine December Ed. My poems are written mostly in English, but I have some in German, too, one of them ("Schicksal" --> Fate) has been published in an Anthology in 2006 at August von Goethe Literaturverlag, not as Morgue McMillan though.
As to my first name all I can say is that I related it to Morgaine - Wikipedia says the following (excerpt): "... The term morgue is derived from French morguer, which means 'to look at solemnly, to defy'. The term was first used to describe the inner wicket of a prison, where prisoners were kept for some time, during which the jailers and turnkeys would spend time looking at the prisoners so that they would be able to recognize them. ..." So, don't be scared :-)

To Release isn't to forget, not to think about, or ignore. It doesn't leave feelings of anger, jealousy, or regret. It's not about pride and it's not obsessing or dwelling on the past. It's not about giving in or giving up. To let go is to cherish the memories, but to overcome and move on. Letting go is learning and experiencing and growing. To release is to be thankful for the experiences that made you laugh, made you cry, and made you grow. It's about all that you have, all that you had, and all that you will soon gain. Letting go is releasing and having the courage to accept change, and the strength to keep moving. It is realizing that the heart can sometimes be the most potent remedy. To let go is to open a door, and to clear a path and set yourself free---
Morgue McMillan, remember that it's easy to let go when holding on hurts so bad--so free yourself from all these expectations and just be :-) Hope you find the unity in my new single "Release" feat. JRockA.
