Having parted ways with JW earlier in the year, the rest of us guys in Morning Lane have been busy working with our new axe man, Sebastian. Hailing from Austria and although sharing the name of a famous German musician, Sebastian resents any suggestion or reference to him being German. Needless to say, Stephen often refers to him simply as ‘The German’.

Seb’s contagious sense of humour and enthusiasm for life has endeared him to the rest of us pretty quickly but it is his musicianship and attention to detail that has us licking our lips (figuratively speaking!) about 2012. 

After just a few rehearsals it became clear that the new Morning Lane line up made the band ‘edgier’ and more 'in your face’ than previously so we are happy to get out there playing our existing tunes. We have, though, decided to write new material, which will show the new character of our band; one that we are really excited about.

Set to spend the next three months writing in hibernation, we will happily come out to play the odd show but we really want to focus on the future and that means one thing, new songs – maybe even an album in the not-too-distant future.

We really hope you will come out and see what this fuss we are making is all about and that you will get excited and share it with everyone and anyone.

We are getting really bored with all the bad news around the world and want to make our own reality, and that of those around us, a positive one. What better way of doing that than through sharing music.
