Ilham, a native of Marrakech, Morocco came to the USA in 1992 and was selected by the Walt Disney talent booking directors, competing with over 100 dancers in Morocco to represent the Moroccan Pavilion, at Disneys Epcot Center in Orlando, Fl. where she performs on a daily basis. Ilham is the featured belly dancer with the band MoRockin, and has been professionally dancing for more than a decade. She has performed for people from all over the world including celebrities such as Vanessa Williams and Steven Segal. She has also been featured on the Spanish Television station Telemundo, and the Wayne Brady Show.
Performing all over Florida, as well as opening concerts for famous Middle East singers such as, George Wassouf and Amr Diab have kept Ilham very busy. In 2004, she was featured with the band, MoRockin in Habibi magazine, and performed in Morocco at the Rawafid Festival in July which was televised live across the Middle East.
Variety is Ilhams specialty. She is a spellbinding, mesmerizing performer, whose passion for dance astonishes audiences anywhere. Being Moroccan, belly dancing, is part of her soul. She has mastered styles such as, Egyptian, Moroccan, Khaleegy, and Middle Eastern Folklore.
Ilham and MoRockin have released CDs and DVDs, which include Sands of Time, and One World. She is currently working on her instructional DVD called, Colors of the Middle East.

FOR ILHAM'S CLASSES HERE'S HOW TO ATTEND
Ilham's Belly Dance Academy is a relaxing environment to learn the art of belly dance. Her Arabic background and years of professional dance experience at Disney's EPCOT Moroccan Pavilion foster a unique learning experience. The instruction is taught to traditional and contemporary Arabic music.
Belly dance has been around for thousands of years. Recently there has been an ncrease in the popularity due to celebrities, such as Shakira, that have had the forum to showcase the dance. It is also an excellent form of aerobic exercise, tones muscles, and increases flexibility.
Ilham's students receive individual attention during class to ensure they are mastering the technique, as well as developing individual style. Students are grouped with others at a similar level. She will advance students to the next class level as she sees individual progress.
NOTE: Students will have many opportunities to showcase what they have learned in scheduled performance events. They are completely voluntary and help build self confidence and fosters creativity.
Class Format- All classes will start with warm up, and
end with cool down stretching.
