„Die GUNS OF MOROPOLIS sind Baum und Säge gleichermaßen: Erdig, bodenständig, mal karg und trostlos, mal bunt und mächtig wie eine hundertjährige Eiche. Doch plötzlich kommt Lärm, Benzingeruch, Schweiß und Zerstörung, es stieben Späne auseinander, die Eiche fällt, Testosteron liegt in der Luft, und am Ende brennt ein Feuer: gewaltig und allesverzehrend in einer lauen Sommernacht, heimelig wärmend des Winters im Kamin.“


The GUNS OF MOROPOLIS are tree and saw at the same time; earthy, rooted to the soil, sometimes scant and bleak, sometimes colorful and mighty like a hundred-year-old oak tree. But suddenly there is noise, the smell of fuel, sweat and destruction, splinters fly, the oak tree falls, testosterone is in the air, and at the end there is a fire - big and all-consuming in a mild summer night, warming and homey in the winter fireplace. Since 2004 the GUNS OF MOROPOLIS have been roaming the land with their heavy gloom'n'roll, and they only want one thing: to burn!
