The rap Morphic produces is uptempo, original, fun to listen to and lyrically diverse.
Through the ages many artists step into the arena with a new sound but few resonate like Morphic. Morphic is a strong lyricist and performer who writes and plays his own instrumentals. Morphic is built, standing over six foot and animated which makes his stage presence undeniable. Combined with his unique delivery and powerful lyrical content this makes Morphic a future classic.
Morphic has been rapping for ten years and has been on the beats for over a decade. It all began in 98 when he began writing beats and playing live keys for an underground hip-hop band called 'All Freestyle Crew'. Later he began writing beats for hardcore rap group outside of Philadelphia where he gained street credibility.
In 2002 Morphic went solo with his debut album The Morphic Memoirs, which featured songs ranging from his struggles with the streets to up-tempo club oriented tracks.
Today the subject matter in Morphic's songs is diverse, with topics ranging from violence, the struggle, sex and politics. Morphic finished his 2007 LP Face The Music and has sold hundreds at his shows and local avenues since its release in January. He has played famous venues around Philadelphia including The Five Spot, Medusa's and World Café Live. In 2007 he toured down south playing in Atlanta at T.I's Club Crucial, the famous Apache, and the Roman Room in Miami. Morphic does his production work from Soundation Productions rapping over all original instrumentals. Morphic is well known in the east coast hip-hop circuits and gaining more reputation. Morphic is ready to take on the Hip-Hop scene, are you ready for Morphic?
Thanks for your approval. Peace is a non-violent way of life, a state of harmony, the absence of hostility. Find Peace through spoken word and neosoul at speaktome. Speaktome is the city's longest running poetry venue, boasting an intriguingly uncommon mixture of spokenword, jazz and neosoul. Graceful, seductive, and refreshingly mature, Speaktome continues to lead the poetically lyrical movement in Philadelphia.

The Optimus Foundation is looking for experienced Hip-Hop artists who are interested in Volunteering as mentors in our MC Academy Program. This is a once-a-week, after-school music program which not only focuses on the creation of a song from top to bottom, but also breaks down the difference between Hip-Hop Music (Rap) and Hip-Hop Culture. We cover topics such as Song Formatting, Writing, Melodies, Personification, Story Telling, Performing and more. This can be your opportunity to make a difference in the lives of aspiring young artists and help put them on the right path in their journey to be musicians. The MC Academy runs out of the Ravenswood Houses Community Center, located in Astoria, Queens.
