Where do I begin? I'm a gender rights activist, a bleeding heart liberal, and a rock and roll singer. That's enough, but there's more...
Music
Depends on the day. My radio is usually on country. My truck CD player usually has rehearsal music loaded. At home, it's whatever... country, jazz, rock, Broadway, classical. I'm not sure I could name a favorite artist if my life depended on it. There's just too many talented folks out there doin' their thing, and I love 'em all for making the effort.
Movies
Man, I have had some days like that...
Television
I don't really watch TV much. It blares in the background but I'm rarely paying much attention. Too many other things to do than sit and stare. I do like to watch The West Wing and ER when I happen to catch them, but I'm not sure I could tell you when any of them are on regularly.
Books
Anything by Stephen King.
Heroes
Which Action Hero Would You Be?
You scored as Captain Jack Sparrow. Roguish,quick-witted, and incredibly lucky, Jack Sparrow is a pirate who sometimes ends up being a hero, against his better judgement. Captain Jack looks out for #1, but he can be counted on (usually) to do the right thing. He has an incredibly persuasive tongue, a mind that borders on genius or insanity, and an incredible talent for getting into trouble and getting out of it. Maybe its brains, maybe its genius, or maybe its just plain luck. Or maybe a mixture of all three.

About me:
I live in beautiful southern Arizona and am looking to make meaningful connections of any kind. I'm 43 (a Taurus, Sag rising), FTM trans guy, mostly Caucasian and 1/8 Cherokee, 5'8, stocky "wrestler build" as they say, killer blue eyes (my secret weapon), and brown hair that is both graying and receding quickly.
I'm a writer first and foremost, although I haven't done much of late. I've earned a living as one, though.
Someday that best-seller will work its way out of my brain, through my fingers, onto the keyboard, into the computer, and off to the publisher. Meanwhile, I published more than a dozen books in the last millennium. I seriously doubt if you've read any of them, though, unless you are a computer geek!
These days, I'm the lead singer in a rock and blues band known as Too Much Information. We have a blast together and we love to make people dance. We were a little shocked and a lot honored to be named 2006 Runner Up - Best Cover Band at the Tucson Area Music Awards. Check out our MySpace page to hear one of our original blues tunes and visit our Web site,
www.tmi-band.com. (You can join our mail list from there.)
Anyway, back to me... I'm a graduate of a personal empowerment program called "The Experience", and although I'm generally skeptical of stuff like that, this EST-like program really changed my life. The Experience helped me learn how to listen to my heart, find my own truth, and live my life with integrity and without shame. If you ever have a chance to do this workshop, I cannot recommend it more highly. If you've already discovered it, let me know; I love to swap stories.
Who I'd like to meet: I use the term "heteroqueer" to describe my sexuality. I just really don't know what to think anymore. I am a man primarily but not exclusively attracted to women, and my life, career, and social circle are almost exclusively in the LGBTQ community. In fact, you could say I'm married to my job. Or you could say I am hanging out here because it's easier than going stealth.
My gender variance is not obvious, which makes things complicated as far as meeting new people goes. Disclosure is my worst enemy. I try to just go with the flow, but sometimes the flow is more like a tsunami...
