Hi there,
My name is Michael Orr and I originally come from Bolton, UK.
I started my luv with music back in the 1980's when electro began to take off.
I soon began Dj'ing and building up my knowledge of soul, rnb, funk, house, garage. It was back in the early 90's that I started to get interested in early break beat house. This soon transformed into Jungle and more recently DnB.
I began to teach myself how to make music and I now make my own Phuture Phunk.
The aim is to craft a sound of my own, Ruff Produckshunz.
I use a variety of tools / DAWs, mostly Reason 4, Protools MAudio, Live and Soundforge. Its been a slow, long haul process, as I am solely self taught. Anyone who thinks DnB is just noize, have a go....see how u get on!
Music is an expression of its people, DnB is visionary based music. Its a mirror image of what is going on in society. Its stressed beatz, intense shakaz, deep bass fequencies wash over you. Most people don't understand what is drivin the produckshunz. Yes, the chemicalz fuel the need for ever heavier musical experiencez, so you will always get extremes, but the drivin nature of DnB, sits perfectly around the 170 - 180 bpm mark. Why, because its a natural cycle....can't beat nature folks!
