... and of course our own Surinam bands like Psyche Cryptic and Slaughtered Soul (which later became Cryptic Soul) are some of the bands that had/have big influences on us.

Hmmm..... I'm not really sure..... but it sounds heavy and sometimes fast!!! I can't really compare the style with an other band.
We are the members of Morrighon. Morrighon is a band from Surinam which plays only metal music. There are 5 members: Alexo (vocals), Rakesh (lead guitars), Mellwin (rhythm guitars), Raoul (bass guitars) and Veroz (drums). I'm not sure what kind of style of metal this is. We play only our own songs since our arise in december 2002. We have never played any cover songs on gigs. We play a cover song once awhile during the practice but that's it. We made our debut in november 2003 on a rock party which was supposed to be a halloween rockparty. The halloween theme didn't continue but we already had our masks so we just decided to go on stage with the masks. We don't play that often on gigs because we don't want our fans and people to get bored of us. Everytime we come out for an gig we try to come with a new song or something. So far we have played in De Witte Lotus, El Cafecito (l'Hermitage Mall), Discotheek Energy, Lelyhills Casino and Hotel, Kriki Festival at Cola Kreek, some kind of mid-day rock gig at waterkant, Mosair Poolcafe, "rockbar" Enigma and Discotheek Millenium. In the photosection we will try to post some pictures from the gigs at these places.
Some of us are working fulltime and the rest are still in school. This makes it a bit difficult to practice like we just did in the beginning because of the workshifts and the school exams and other stuff. But still we continue...
We will try to place updates (if there are any of course) about anything as soon as possible. And also place videos and music of bands we all like. So feel free to look around!
We would like to meet managers, producers our fans and friends of course. Anyone is welcome in being our friend!
