I love spending time with my family, hiking, hanging out, watching bad movies, eating/cooking.
I'm a political junkie. I read anything I can find; books, magazines, newspapers, blogs. I enjoy good political debates with people who can discuss issues without being nasty.
I'm a big baseball fan. I root for the Boston Red Sox (I grew up in Boston)and the Phillies--both the Philadelphia and Reading versions. I also enjoy watching my two boys play little league.

a tip of the hat to your public service. We seem to have many common interests (especially Phillies) and I can't help but think that if the current adminsitration had watched your favorite movie (Lawrence of Arabia)....they would have realized the folly of their actions.
Peace! and do keep in touch, Regards & respects, Rob
Honored to be your new friends, Michael, and thanks for being ours. We agree with everything you wrote in your "About Me" section, and we trust you to do your part to return us to a country of, by and for the people, not of, by and for corporations. Here's to a Morrill Majority! Also hope you had a safe and peaceful July 4th. Take care.
Much love Doug & Lydia
Folks, if you want to take your country back, you first have to take your media back, because right now it's being controlled by those with more of a political agenda than a news agenda. The media is supposed to be the people's watchdog, not the GOP's lapdog.
And that's where we come in, and we're counting on your support as our friends. No matter which side of the political aisle you're on - and whether you like it or not - we're all in this together.

Whenever I hear that song, it reminds me that another rocket or shuttle launch is about to go off at Cape Canaveral. I go there whenever I can to see it at Kennedy...but...when I can't make it I can see it from my house!
It's coming back at 2 tomorrow and all of our art will fall off the walls because of the sonic boom.
Ain't Florida great? Fixed elections and the space program. Okay, NASA is cool.
Thanks for the request and for supporting Ms. Roy!
"The only dream worth having is to dream that you will live while you are alive, and die only when you are dead. To love, to be loved. To never forget your own insignificance. To never get used to the unspeakable violence and vulgar disparity of the life around you. To seek joy in the saddest places. To pursue beauty to its lair. To never simplify what is complicated or complicate what is simple. To respect strength, never power. Above all to watch. To try and understand. To never look away. And never, never to forget." - Arundhati Roy
You, my dear friend, are the most qualified person for any position that you may seek. I will be thinking of you each step of the way. Thanks for adding me. I'm glad we hooked up.
