What ^...2009 has been a very productive year for me so far. I self released my new Novackaine album VICARIOUS to critical acclaim, and during the same week I won St. Louis' premier underground rap freestyle battle, THE RAPPERS ROYAL RUMBLE(RRR), crushing all 24 of my opponents with ease, and winning a nice cash prize of $400!!(what?!..who wanna battle?!) I've joined a group of very talented eclectic musicians and we've formed the revolutionary Rock Band FOR THE COLONY!!! Check us out!!! We've got live trax posted on our myspace, and live videos from our POP's debut concert on Youtube!! We have only been together for about a month, and we are already taking the St. Louis Rock scene by storm, crushing veteran bands in competitions left and right!!! Don't miss us at POP's Apr.25th!!..not to mention our Pointfest slot!!! I also formed the experimental/hardcore band Tentacle Apocalypse with my boi Matt Massacre. Expect some sick muzic from us soon. I've just finished a recording session of 30+ songs so get ready.....Let me know what type o' records y'all wanna hear from me...I got crunk shit, smooth shit, hardcore/battle hiphop, psychedelic/metaphysical hiphop....However I'm feeling at any given time affects the direction of my music.... Musical inspiration. One of a kind. ......Cameron Novack, a.k.a. Novackaine, has always been a musical person, singing semi-professionally since he was five. Classically trained, he has performed arias for numerous prestigious events, banquets, etc. He also sang the National Anthem for both the St. Louis Cardinals and the Kansas City Royals...Novackaine's interest in battle rapping began when he was in grade school. He states his claim as the best rapper in St. Louis, and is always ready to battle anyone who disagrees. Aside from this, he has a great deal of diverse influences in sound, from Radiohead to Prince to R. Kelly...Novackaine has also participated in a number of talent shows, similar to the ever popular ..American Idol... In Los Angeles, during the final round of one of these shows, he had the opportunity for his "big break" when approached about a career in country music. However, he declined the offer. When asked about his decision, he simply says he couldn't pretend to be something that he was not.......Currently, he is working on his new album, which will feature his amazing vocal talent, rapping ability, and completely original production.......Stay tuned for some incredible music!
