Creating Puzzles From Flesh
Formed March 2006 by drummer Justin Terry and guitarist/vocalist Eric Schumacher. The goal was to combine their inspirations from European Metal and toss it into the proverbial meat grinder of American Death Metal and make some bratwurst for a bloody Sunday grill fest. After collaborating, they recruited guitarist John Lee, vocalist Travis Rud, and bassist Joel “Dez” Crandal from local disbanded groups and began grinding that inspired sound. With the chemistry of five seasoned musicians, determination, and the love and admiration for all that is music, a inexorable apparatus was born, and it was duly dubbed Mors Mortis Machinatio; the Latin translated - “Death Machine“.
Another Piece in the Puzzle
After 2 years of writing and concerts establishing themselves in the local music scene, the band decided to step up to a larger market and a higher level of obligations. Upon that choice, guitarist John Lee noted his family had to come first and the band reluctantly bid him, his wife and daughter a hard fond farewell. With determination of their goal in mind, they searched for a replacement. Enter guitarist Adam Quick, another seasoned musician, good friend, and overall fan of the plan. He quickly (no pun intended) helped fortify and inspire the band. Today the story remains the same, but the plot gets deeper...
