Creating Puzzles From Flesh
Formed in the Spring of 2006 by Drummer Justin Terry & Guitarist Eric Schumacher as a side-project. The initial goal was to combine their inspiration from European Metal and chuck it into the proverbial meat grinder of American Death Metal. After some time collaborating, they recruited John Lee & Travis Rud from a local disbanded group and began cultivating that inspired sound. Later the decision was made to bring in a bassist to fortify the side-project into a main one; enter Joel “Dez” Crandal. With the chemistry of 5 seasoned musicians, a real will to grow and succeed, and the love and ears for only the finest music, a pinnacle force was born, and it was duly dubbed Mors Mortis Machinatio; the Latin translated - “Death Machine“.
Another Piece in the Puzzle
After a 2-year adventure of writing and playing shows to establish themselves in the local music scene they made an educated decision to ascend to a larger market and to a higher level of self. With every good move comes a loss. Upon the choice to take things to a demanding level to achieve their new goal, Guitarist John Lee decided family is first and the band bid him, his wife and daughter a fond farewell. The word was spread and our good pal Adam Quick came forward to lend us his expertise and talent. The story remains the same, but the plot gets deeper...
