Mortalfear initiated their collaboration in the summer of 2000.
As the creativity came together and the musicianship improved,
the band's dedication increased after recording the song Emotions Are Dead at the Earbender studio.
Mortalfear explored fresh territories and began writing more songs. Everything became much heavier. Then came a few line-up changes that led to an even greater extension of heavier musical possibilities.
Now, after several successful gigs that have taken the band virtually everywhere, Mortalfear continues to spread their sound of Melodic Death Metal, bringing their breakdowns to the brink, structuring songs with melodic slants and inciting moshy death metal, and pushing the traditional lyrical flow to a new level of brutality
