Mortipherus is a blackened death-metal band from Carinthia in Austria and was founded on the first of oktober in 2007. As a result of fun by playing music and metal, the four guys from the surrounding of Friesach came together to make a band. The first rehearsals went very good, so the formation was found. Currently the band is working on new songs and practises.

sollte jedem Punkrockfan ein Begriff sein. Laut, schnell,
politisch und mit Hardcore-Background gewannen sie bis zu ihrer
Trennung 2007 viele Fans für sich. Nathan Gray wollte jedoch nicht in
Rente gehen, und gründete seine neue Band namens "THE CASTING OUT". Im
Mai 2009 erschien ihr Debüt-album „Go Crazy! Throw Fireworks!“. Laut
Frontmann Nathan Gray ist er nach wie vor sehr politisch, jedoch
steht für ihn mittlerweile der Spaß im Vordergrund. Aus diesem Grund
hat er es sich zum Ziel gemacht, schwierige Problematiken in zuckersüße
Melodien zu verpacken. Es entstehen Skate-Punk-Stadion-Hymnen in denen
es um Liebe, Langeweile und Drogenprobleme geht.
