Writing, the supernatural, the paranormal, vampires, cats, computers, nature, and a zillion other things I never have time to investigate these days.

About me:

.. ..

I'm a geeky horror writer with two vampire novels under my belt and a third in progress. A longtime Dark Shadows fan who used to run home from school and switch on the black & white TV at 4:00 each day, I loved the old Hammer films, too.

I'm a member of Horror Writers Association (HWA), New England Horror Writers (NEHW), Broad Universe, and the National Association of Women Writers (NAWW). Lately I've been attending a lot of horror and fantasy conventions -- sometimes doing a reading or sitting on a panel, often staffing a table in the dealers' area, and always trying to learn and meet fans and fellow authors.

Throwing good sense and caution aside, I started my own podcast, "Vampires, Witches, and Geeks" in April 2008, with no previous training or expertise in podcasting. Despite my lack of knowledge, it survives, and maintains a steady audience with its mixture of news, interviews, and readings that appears roughly every 3-4 weeks. Check it out at www.vampireswitchesandgeeks.com

Who I'd like to meet:

Vampire fiction fans, vampire fiction writers, fantasy writers, horror writers, horror fans, supernatural horror fans. I'd love to hear from Wiccans and Pagans who appreciate a good vampire story.

Right now my novels feature "mythic vampires" (that is, the undead immortal of film and novels), but I could also see a place in them for psi/energy-vamps, sanguinarians, or even goths (and yes, I know that a goth isn't necessarily a vamp and vice versa), so if someone wants to share their perspective, that would be cool.
