Keep updated here as we often show movies of all types at Mosaic, even sometimes a premier of an upcoming movie. Everything from family oriented fare, to documetaries, and adult discussion only films. Using the connections with Hollywood Jesus we are blessed to talk about some of the film and we always have a good time.
Starting October 1, 2009, Mosaic, in association with The Virtual Pew will be starting in Wichita, Mosaic ARC. Mosaic Arc stands for Mosaic Abuse Recovery Center. This is a pay as you can service helping provide and discover recovery for persons who have been through physical and sexual abuse. Again, this is a pay as you can service, and if you can't afford anything, then don't worry about it. We will never send out invoices, repeat, never. We of course are in need of outside individuals and organizations to provide help with the funding of this program. For more information contact Mike Furches at mike@thevirtualpew.com. Mosaic is a grace based church that exists to bring glory to God by sharing the life transforming message of Christ with the city of Wichita and around the world. Vision is not about reality or what is. It is about our dreams and aspirations of what could be.
At Mosaic, we envision a church where we help people find refuge from the hurt and pain of the world. We want a church that engages people at their point of need and helps them find the healing that comes through Jesus Christ. We desire to be a place where people are accepted regardless of where they are at in their spiritual journey.
Mosaic wants to be a church that gives people a place to belong even before they believe. We desire a community that is intentional about reaching the city of Wichita with the message of Jesus Christ and helping people connect their stories with God’s story in a way that makes a difference in their lives.
Mosaic wants to be a church that helps people follow Christ with their all. We want to live in the way of Jesus and seek to model our lives after His. We are a church in the city – comprised of people from all walks of life who are gathered to worship Jesus Christ with their all.
In loving Jesus with our all, we realize the best way to do this is to love our neighbor as ourselves. Jesus stated, that loving God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength, and then loving our neighbor as ourselves, is the greatest of all commandments, and if we have kept these two commandments, we have kept them all. Simply put, as a grace based church, our job is to love and share the message of Jesus with the all people, no matter where they come from. It is the job of the Holy Spirit to convict people of sin, and he is fully capable of doing his job.
We envision a church that serves the poor, the hurting, and the left out of society. We are intentional about helping people grow in their relationship with God, but patient with people as they journey on their path. We encourage people to become who God created them to be. It is more about the church fitting into and using the gifts of the people, than it is the people fitting into the needs of the organization. We want people to discover their uniqueness and equip them to unleash and fulfill their God given ministries both in and out of the church. We want to establish new communities of faith throughout Wichita and around the world as we grow.
This is our vision – a picture of what could be and is with the help of people seeking the same. It is our belief that God desires to establish these types of communities. Who are we trying to reach? We want to reach people who are broken, people who feel like they don’t fit in at church. We want to reach people who want to share in this vision, maybe are already involved in a church but looking for more ministry. We want to reach people who other churches maybe perceive as problems. We have a belief that God is bigger than any of our problems and we have seen people grow in their faith, even when other churches have given up on them.
We want Mosaic to include, young families, families of all ages, single parent families, ravers, single people, divorced people, homosexuals, heterosexuals, drug addicts, alcoholics, college students, teenagers, punks, homophobes, porn addicts, the disenfranchised, rednecks, minorities, tattooed people, rich people, poor people, bikers, homeless people, apartment dwellers, home owners, pierced people, gang members, bowlers, golf players, Republicans, Democrats, Independents, hippies, vegetarians, meat eaters, the environmentally conscious, cowboys, farmers, artists, musicians, and whoever else God brings across our path.
Many people have given up on church; Mosaic is the place for those people. Our desire is to be a church that glorifies God and serves Christ through the abilities given by the Holy Spirit. We are small for now, but want to grow because we know there is the need for a church like Mosaic. You won’t see us pass an offering plate, won’t see our pastor wearing a suit, and we won’t judge you for being who you are. We will love you, share in love things to help each other out as we grow and become the people God wants us to be. We will journey together and share in the life experiences God has for us, and along the way, hopefully making a difference. You will never be seen as a project, but a unique and beautiful creation of God, no matter where you are at.

Hey have you heard our new songs yet? We are playing a show with Haste the Day on November 1st. Tickets are $12, hit us up if you are intersted cause we have to sell a bunch! We also are in a giant Christian Battle of the Bands on the 14th. The winner gets a $25,000 advertising package. We have to sell a lot of tickets for that as well so hit us up for those. They are only $10, and be sure to invite all your friends. We'll meet up with you where ever you want as long as its relatively close.

we'd love that when in the world can we do that. we are looking for some photographer to help us out, being a full band instead of me we need to get down on some shots lol, and yea we figured we'd play 11 or 12 songs on saturday. i swear those guys lol. well anyway its a little hard to learn any more of that we are struggling as it is. and i never sign out lol but im not there all the time lol and the 30th will work out we'll make it work
