Hey, thanks for passing by!!! Well I guess its just polite to introduce myself to you. I am MOSCO....
It all started back in the day (1987ish to be precise) with my 2 Technics 1200's and a mixer. Influenced by Hip hop, Funk/Jazz, Soul and Disco I entering the DMC Mixing Championships in 1990 and that's where my admiration for the technical game began. Gradually my focus moved towards the more Jazz funk tinged sound of House music, kick starting my way into the production arena.
From 1993 to present I have DJ'ed in some of the most established, World renowned Nightclubs throughout the UK and beyond. Residencies include:
* The Mudd Club @ Bagley's Warehouse * Freedom @ Bagley's * The Full Monty * The Matrix - Reading * The Zap Club - Brighton * Orange Club - Cape Town * 52nd State @ The Fez - Reading
.... to name a few, and have supported many top brand DJ's including Paul Oakenfold, Danny Rampling, Eric Morillo, Joey Negro (aka Dave Lee), Boy George, Norman Jay, StoneBridge.... the list goes on :-)
Lucky enough to have my first release on Grant Nelson's label Swing City Records in 1998 (A Major E.P.), I was not long after signed to Audio Deluxe Records famous for its release of "Feel The Real' by David Bendeth. In 2000 I hooked up with Brighton based Nitelife Records, and had releases and remix collaborations with some fantastic vocalists such as Abigail Bailey, Isabel Fructuoso, Shola Phillips and Angie Brown to name a few. As well as numerous white label projects plus remixes and releases with Juan Kidd (Juan Kidd N Mosco), Jolyon Petch, Jason Herd, Elektrik Disko, Player Records, J:Funk Recordings, Sony – Japan, and several other compilation albums, I have more recently been involved in writing backing music for TV.
The Future is Bright…................................... The future is MOSCOMUSIC:-)
